Oh my God, it's amazing Sampson! So majestic.Just rambling up random logging roads and exploring a bit. This area was opened up and logged last year so it is very open and easy hiking. The road switchbacks up the mountain so I parked at a loading area and hiked in along a skidder trail until I found a nice creek on a sunny south slope. Was a great spot to stop and fill up my water, have a fire to cook some lunch, and do a little reading in the sun.
And the view was pretty good too
