Found a nice spot for a pic out for a walk today.
Yea, no snow down low in the valleys around here right now. Hard to see in the picture but about 1000' up there is still lots of snow.
Looks like a good place to do some beaver trapping

In my neighborhood today , 20-30 mph winds and snow blows sideways

We had our snow a few days ago. Today is beautiful I keep running outside to catch some rays......the Cardinals are back in the yard and some kinda birds are snatching my bottle caps from the opener I mounted outside....

Back forty. Northern Virginia. This is the view off my back deck. At the bottom of the ridge is the Rappahannock River. Which is one of my property lines.

Tell me about it. There is almost as much out the front of it. Here is an unexpected visitor I had last summer. He split two horse fields and put it down right in my driveway. Aside from him though, I have pretty good privacy out here. I had to unlock my front gate to let their chase vehicle in.

Reminds of the time when I was in grade school and I was in baseball. I was covering center field when all of the sudden a hot air balloon was coming down for a landing. I had to run to avoid it when it landed in the middle of the field.
It appears that the raptor migration may have started here. I stepped outside and saw an eagle flying North. Grabbed my camera. In just a few minutes I saw 6 eagles all flying North. Most of them were flying pretty high so these are cropped quite a bit even at 400mm focal length. Also lighting was quite poor. Cloudy and gloomy day.
On Wednesday out on a hike I saw one of them metal birds too.

You should of seen it in real life. The water was such an amazing green. I could hardly pull myself away and will be sure to go back one day soon.

Had a very nice hike this morning.
That 1st pic...take more food next time....and...the nearby beavers are gonna be pissed!
Good idea. Man all that wood didn't fill me up at all. I had to grill when I got home.

I buy a new car every 1-2 years or so thru my business. I keep is < $30k OTD. This unit gets 40+ mpg and is a decent ride. I miss my SUV, but 40+ is nice.
