Beavers will hose up that idyllic, pastoral woodland. The little bastages never stop dam building. They will extend flooded areas by having one-foot high dam extensions built further daily. Eventually, the larger trees die from being under water and the mosquito population explodes.Had a very nice hike this morning.

Doesn't that stare look just like Fausti's stare...
Can you imagine the spectrum those eyes can see? Where we see black on either side of ROYGBIV, what do they see?

There are already many downed trees in the area after it took a direct hit from a tornado a few years ago. Park management are still clearing trees from that event. Ironic seeing a bunch of trees brought down by a beaver after seeing so many that were brought down from the tornado.
Landing gear is down so must be close to an airport. Thanks! lol. I thought about mentioning "nature's corn dog" but thought I would let it stew.
I do like capturing the random small aircraft when I have the camera ready. Nice way to check settings. These are from last Saturday.

Until the pubes get stuck in your teeth.Beaver is very tasty.
There's always flossing...or gift a razor...or help shave it...optionsUntil the pubes get stuck in your teeth.
Indeed. I am a couple miles from a regional airport. Almost right in line with the main landing strip. Those planes were coming in for a landing.Landing gear is down so must be close to an airport.

A couple are way older. Were my grandfather's...my grandmother worked at Sears for years so he had a lot of old and some newer(90's as you mentioned) craftsman tools.^^^ Those sockets look like the vintage ones from the 1990s? No chinesium in them.
Woo hoo, that does look like fun.Indeed. I am a couple miles from a regional airport. Almost right in line with the main landing strip. Those planes were coming in for a landing.
Then we had this odd one the other day from another airport, noticed this plane doing a tight loop. Was flying level by the time I had the camera ready.
