'laws' are driving this - skoolz have little wiggle room

family member is long-time teacher. talked to her the other day. she reports that 400 out of 900 students at her skool are now classified as 'special ed'

this classification means that the skool MUST develop individual plans for each and every one of the special. this has shifted MASSIVE resources to the worst of the skool attendees....and more importantly, away from the well-behaved learners

which kids are being added to the disabled count? the deadwood that dont give a whit about edu, the criminal class that shouldn't be sitting next to your sons/daughter, other random ridiculous crap

here's the kicker - once a deadwood/criminal gets the 'special ed' designation, they are virtually untouchable -- skool has to move mountains to give them ANY punishment for their crimes

the skool is in full meltdown.

this started with obama/holder -- esp the 'dear colleague' threat/letter that they released.

the current admin has done NOTHING to right the ship

keep you and yours out of any/all skoolz that have ANY of the element in them

They designate them as special so they receive more money from the fed.govt for that student.
They drug up kids to get other .gov funds...there's lots of money they can squeeze from our children, lots of money

Our kids have been drugged by the government and modern doctors for decades.

Specifically, Title I funding from the Federal Government.

Last school I worked at, if a child had even a speech impairment, the speech therapist encouraged the parents to enroll their child in Medicaid.
When the child is enrolled in Medicaid, then the school can receive Medicaid funding when providing services to that child.

A new law signed by Gavin Newsom bans schools from suspending disruptive kids

It is will soon be illegal in California for both public and charter schools to suspend disruptive students from kindergarten through eighth grade

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday signed into law Senate Bill 419, which permanently prohibits willful defiance suspensions in grades four and five. It also bans such suspensions in grades six through eight for five years.

The law goes into effect July 1, 2020.
