Cheaper to pay 1 dj that plays white noise than it is to pay a talented band.. band i work for varies from a 3 piece to 10 piece.
Dj will win most of the contracts due to basic economics, unless they have had the chance to see a show case or the event needs more of an impacting center of attention. Once your into the arena tours and festival market, Djs can actually make more money based upon there ability to draw out the crowds... that said all bets are off with Covid19.. Billion dollar loses for everyone at this point!

yep.. we do them..it makes the event..if they are good enough to understand clients needs and not have a huge ego!
Speaking of which..lots of cancellations due to covid19...online video stream of band doesnt quite have the same vibe!
