My neighbor -- the one dragging down the neighborhood -- and his lovely wife just sorta came home, got comfortable... and decided to go travel again.

Yup. Seems they have rented a catamaran for a cruise to St. Thomas.

No big deal.

OH. Except that the fargin catamaran has FOUR STATEROOMS. They will be the only ones aboard other than the crew of eight. I din' know they made catamarans that fargin big. Jeez.

Ya know how they get aboard? A hoppy-copter. Jeez. Jeez.

The "H" stands for Hoppy-Copter ...obvious.

If everyone that visits this site and donates $ to this site I'll hold a weekend party on said craft...we can even "drop" a few evil ones from the Hoppy-Copter....after the bong fest!

Not quite.

But they did leave our grandchildren a national debt of about $30Trillion and another $129Trillion in unfunded liabilities to pay off working at Starbucks.

now that's an asshole. Thanks Gramps!

Pay off? Who's paying down the debt. Not one penny ever gats paid on the debt, only interest. Even when the bankers paid back the 700 billion we lent them plus interest, not one penny went to pay down the debt. Not sure where that money went though, no one ever asked in the media.
Anyway, I no longer worry about the debt. It will rise until it doesn't, then it all falls down.. Once it falls down we escape on the happy copter to the escape pod in the OP.

Funny.... I was just thinking about a GIMer convention. WOW! That would be something.
ANY Group Meeting (Centrally Located or Cheap Air) would be a GREAT Idea.

Back to your regularly scheduled TOPIC.

(*snork*)

For you anti-plutocrats... :gracious:

Nope. This guy is straight-arrow.

He's a Bhuddist. Polite to an extreme. TINS. His wife is Welsh. He loves to garden -- fruit trees of types you never even heard of [eg: cotton candy tree] all over. Spotless lawn and grounds.

He had to call me in to get a gator. There was no way he could kill it... or anything else. He is meticulous in his person, and in his huge (fenceless) property.

Altogether, a far nicer guy than me. Again: TINS

Strange as it may seem to some, there have been nice, fair, responsible, successful people who have never robbed, frauded, cheated anyone... and yet... and yet... they can retire with enough money to really have a good time.

Hugh Hefner once said:

"There are those who have the haunting fear that somebody, somewhere is having a good time."

Although, to be honest -- if I did not know them both well, and just heard about the wild-ass, who-cares-about-money shit they do...

A. I would assume (and be right 90% of the time) the guy is a crook
B. I would wish the guy would throw an old used Maserati my way.

Where ever you go, there is a correlation between poverty and crime. Society fails to function typically due to extreme economic forces. For a lot of people, getting to the stage of your friend is not easy.

In terms of socialism, the gov't is ALWAYS going to waste/spend as much money as it can. Would you rather them waste it on crony capitalism or crony socialism? This is the debate which they present as the only options. RP was clear about small gov't in all his time there.

The victory for them, long before us, in 1913, led to misery. We inherited WWII, the bankers made certain that once on track, war as a business' would take over.

It was created out of thin air and to thin air it returned (except for the interest).

Uncle --

Like me, he is retarded.

I haven't a clue where his wealth comes from.
