Crickets are excellent food for reptiles. Frogs and toads love them. So do turtles and lizards, as well as snakes, fish, birds and other small animals. Animals higher up the food chain, need better quality proteins. Cats of all sizes, wolves and humans require meat and eggs. Everything else is a supplement to that diet. Vegetables, including root vegetables, fruit and berries, nuts and beans, grains of all kinds and everything made from grains are all supplementary at best. Insects and/or worms are not part of the human diet and anyone promoting them for human consumption and actually trying to make that happen are criminals.
