Why is it that liberals are ALWAYS immune to logic and common sense ?

The invasion of foreigners aka "caravan" was always a scam - from time of inception to now.
Thankfully, we now have a POTUS with balls, unlike his predecessor (unless you count Michael Michelle ).

There should be no "deal", no "plan" to allow new immigrants into this country until we have taken care of our own homeless - in particular, our veterans.

How many homeless veterans are there?
Although flawless counts are impossible to come by – the transient nature of homeless populations presents a major difficulty – the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) estimates that 40,056 veterans are homeless on any given night. (while I'm at it, Fuck you, McCain)

Trump Threatens To Permanently Close Southern Border If Needed

by Tyler Durden
Mon, 11/26/2018 - 06:56
Migrant caravan drama returned to the headlines over the weekend after several violent clashes broke out at the US-Mexico border, prompting US troops to fire tear gas at migrants who tried to rush the border, while one migrant who attacked border agents with stones after crossing into Arizona was taken into custody. After the incoming Mexican government denied reports that it had agreed to hold asylum applicants from Central American while they awaited their asylum hearings, Mexico said it would deport some 500 migrants who tried to rush the US border on Sunday.
Hundreds try to storm the border. Expect significant US response #tijuana pic.twitter.com/0T50XUnXtY
— emma murphy (@emmamurphyitv) November 25, 2018
Given all that is happening, it's hardly surprising that President Trump, who just returned from a holiday weekend at Mar-a-Lago, escalated his threats to close the US-Mexico border after a series of angry tweets about a 60 Minutes story about his administration's controversial "child separation" policy where he (correctly) pointed out that the Trump administration's policy was merely a continuation of policies from the Bush and Obama administrations. Trump said that he tried to keep families together, but that "when you do that, vast numbers of additional people storm the border."
.@60Minutes did a phony story about child separation when they know we had the exact same policy as the Obama Administration. In fact a picture of children in jails was used by other Fake Media to show how bad (cruel) we are, but it was in 2014 during O years. Obama separated....
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 26, 2018
....children from parents, as did Bush etc., because that is the policy and law. I tried to keep them together but the problem is, when you do that, vast numbers of additional people storm the Border. So with Obama seperation is fine, but with Trump it’s not. Fake 60 Minutes!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 26, 2018
Trump closed his rant by demanding that Mexico move "stone-cold criminal" migrants back to their home countries "do it by plane, do it by bus, do it any way you want but they are NOT coming into the U.S.A!" Failing this, Trump added "we will close the border permanently if need be" before demanding that Congress "fund the WALL."
Mexico should move the flag waving Migrants, many of whom are stone cold criminals, back to their countries. Do it by plane, do it by bus, do it anyway you want, but they are NOT coming into the U.S.A. We will close the Border permanently if need be. Congress, fund the WALL!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 26, 2018
Of course, Trump will have a chance to do just that next month, where he will have the opportunity to threaten a shutdown if Congress doesn't agree to funding for his border-strengthening initiatives like the wall.

Hoaxed: The ‘Illegal Alien Mom with Barefoot Kids’ Photo was a Setup – Another Staged #FakeNews Production
by Jim Hoft November 26, 2018 264 Comments

Yesterday’s Headline is today’s hoax. The illegal alien mother ‘fleeing’ from the border wall was all a lie. It was a setup.

After further review, yesterday’s ‘horrific’ picture of a woman with barefoot children running from the US border wall was a hoax. In the background of the picture a group of men are posing for one camera man and another is running towards another camera man. In other areas, people are just standing around. The woman with the children was just a photo-op:

The high resolution picture shows guys in the background posing for a cameraman proving again that liberals are easily fooled:

An0maly@LegendaryEnergy

Look at the high resolution picture of the guys in the back holding each other for the photographer to make it look like they are running. They know how naive & foolish the liberal/Progressive/normal viewer brainwash gang is.

Americans live in TJ, they and some green-card holders, cross the border daily to go to work

There's supposed to be another crossing for trucks east of SD somewhere
There doesn't seem to be any video from there and that would seem more vulnerable, more moving parts to secure
IDK
The crossing is Otay Mesa a short distance east of T J. It was not well known for a long time.
I used it 30 years ago as my secret crossing. A 15 minute drive would save hours from the T J crossing time.

This mercenary invasion is costing 100's of millions a day !
It appears that Mexico got the message & is working, a bit, on our side.
Trump needs to send this video to Guatemala, San Salvador & Honduras, along with a note of cancellation of all aid to those countries.

The Mexicans shot the tear gas, not the Americans (probably at the photographer's request). Also, the people in the background don't seem to concerned about these 'gas attacks' being professed by the MSM here. Of course this doesn't come close to passing the eye test but that doesn't matter as the communists have already succeeded in brainwashing the masses into believing whatever the guy on the teevee tells them.

Where's my rope??

The only reason Mexico is 'helping' is because T won't let the invaders cross the border, and Mexico is stuck with them. Otherwise they wouldn't lift a finger. They didn't see this coming. They're used to dealing with spineless bitches like Obama and his 96 gender party of pussy hat wearing SJW

EDIT: and we get to F*CK Mexico the entire time - it's win-win

Mexico gladly sent their people to the US to work and send US Currency back to Mexico. Now they are stuck in the middle of this and they deserve all the trouble associated with it. Bet the tourism in Tijuana is suffering from all this, too.

Its great to see Trump keeping the chithole countries on their side of the fence.

A message from the Prez.

The White House • November 26, 2018
Watch live tonight

At 7:50 p.m. ET, President Donald J. Trump will join a roundtable in Mississippi on the historic, bipartisan criminal justice reform bill he backed on November 14.

The FIRST STEP Act will reform America’s prisons to make our communities safer and our justice system fairer. Nearly all incarcerated Americans will one day leave prison. The goal of this legislation is simple: to make sure they don’t return.

Watch President Trump’s roundtable live at 7:50 p.m. ET.

Need to know: Why President Trump supports criminal justice reform
The situation at America’s border

Yesterday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents and officers effectively and professionally managed an extremely dangerous situation involving more than 1,000 individuals who sought to enter the United States illegally.

CBP was forced to close the San Ysidro Port of Entry (POE) near San Diego, California, to ensure public safety and security. The POE remained closed for about 5 hours. After attempting and being prevented from entering, a group of migrants tried to breach legacy border fence infrastructure and sought to harm CBP personnel by throwing projectiles.

Four agents were struck by projectiles—most likely rocks—but were wearing protective gear and did not suffer serious injuries.

As they dispersed a violent crowd, CBP made more than 60 arrests. Of the thousand or so protestors involved, only a handful of minors were present. The vast majority of participants were single male adults.

Both American and Mexican officials say these actions are not consistent with peaceful asylum seekers. On Friday, Tijuana Mayor Juan Manuel Gastelum declared a humanitarian crisis in his city, which he said was struggling to accommodate the influx. “No city in the world is prepared to receive this,” he said.

U.S. Border Patrol leaders have made clear that a wall is needed to preserve law and order. “One thing we saw that we could absolutely use yesterday was infrastructure,” Border Patrol Chief of Law Enforcement Operations Brian Hastings said. “That infrastructure was breached yesterday. We are repairing it now, but without a doubt, we could use a wall in an area like that.”

President Trump: No one gets a free pass to enter America illegally.

Big picture: How our weak asylum laws make everyone worse off

DHS Secretary Issues Statement, Correcting False Media Accounts at Southern U.S. Border…
Posted on November 26, 2018by sundance

Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen provided the following statement regarding the recent crisis on our southern border.

“Given the activities of the last 24 hours at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, I want to provide an update on what occurred and attempt to dispel many of the rumors and much of the misinformation circulating.

“First, the violence we saw at the border was entirely predictable. This caravan, unlike previous caravans, had already entered #Mexico violently and attacked border police in two other countries. I refuse to believe that anyone honestly maintains that attacking law enforcement with rocks and projectiles is acceptable. It is shocking that I have to explain this, but officers can be seriously or fatally injured in such attacks. Self-defense isn’t debatable for most law-abiding Americans.

Second, the caravan is far larger and more organized than previous ones. There are 8,500 caravan members in Tijuana and Mexicali. There are reports of additional caravans on their way.

“Third, the overwhelming majority of these individuals are not eligible for asylum in the United States under our laws. Historically, less than 10% of those who claim asylum from #Guatemala, #Honduras, and #ElSalvador are found eligible by a federal judge. 90% are not eligible. Most of these migrants are seeking jobs or to join family who are already in the U.S. They have all refused multiple opportunities to seek protection in Mexico or with the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. Seeking employment or family reunification are not grounds for asylum under our laws, or any international obligation. There are, however, legal ways to seek a job or to be reunited in the U.S.

“Fourth, the caravan members are predominately male. It appears in some cases that the limited number of women and children in the caravan are being used by the organizers as “human shields” when they confront law enforcement. They are being put at risk by the caravan organizers as we saw at the Mexico-Guatemala border. This is putting vulnerable people in harms way.

“Fifth, we cannot confirm the backgrounds and identities of all caravan members which possess a national security and public safety risk to our country. However, at this point we have confirmed that there are over 600 convicted criminals traveling with the caravan flow. This includes individuals known to law enforcement for assault, battery, drug crimes, burglary, rape, child abuse and more. This is serious. Additionally, Mexico has already arrested 100 caravan members for criminal violations in Mexico.

Sixth, our Border Patrol agents and officers responded admirably and responsibly to the events on Sunday. It is a testament to their training and professionalism that no one was injured. The accepted use of nonlethal force (also used by the Obama Administration in 2013) prevented further injury to agents and a mass illegal rush across the border. We will not shy away from protecting our people. I ask parents to avoid violent caravan groups and refrain from attempts to illegally enter our country – these acts will put your children in danger.

“Seventh, I want to thank President Donald J. Trump again for the decision to send @DeptofDefense to the border to bolster our ports of entry and provide force protection for Customs and Border Protection. This decision likely prevented injuries to personnel and migrants or additional damage to property. Instead of “a political stunt,” as suggested by some, this was in fact the act of a leader concerned about the rule of law.

“Eighth, this Administration has been working nonstop to fix our immigration system to address the crisis at the border. We have proposed legislation and asked Congress to pass it. The President has repeatedly made clear what is needed to secure our border and negotiated in good faith. It is time for Congress to do its job. Absent Congressional action courts have misinterpreted existing laws and have made the job of law enforcement far more difficult. But the men and women of DHS will continue to do all we can to enforce the law and DHS and U.S. Department of State will continue negotiations with Mexico and our other partners in the region. We are optimistic that cross border collaboration can help make America, indeed the entire region, more secure.

“Finally, this Administration warned about the danger of the caravan. We predicted the violence we saw on Sunday. We prepared to address it with additional personnel and DOD deployments. We will continue to prepare for the next assault while looking for lasting solutions with Congress and our Mexican partners. As always, I want to thank those officers and agents in San Ysidro who, under tremendous strain, used professionalism and restraint to ensure that no one was injured as they were attacked themselves. I also thank DOD and our state & local law enforcement who were on scene to support our people.”

~ Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen

Facing no way into U.S., some caravan members head home

Outside the Benito Juárez migrant shelter in Tijuana, dozens stood in line Monday for a chance to return to their home country, a day after chaotic clashes at the border dimmed their hopes of entering the United States.

Members of the Central American migrant caravan slumped in a line late afternoon to ask for return passage, after traveling for more than a month and trekking thousands of miles by foot, by bus and crammed into the beds of trucks for days.

Some were tired and reluctantly surrendered their dream of going to the United States, rather than face months more in the overcrowded and unsustainable conditions in Tijuana shelters.

Others said they had economic duties to fulfill in Central America. And a small handful said they did not want to face any legal consequences for the violent confrontations with border agents and Mexican federal police on Sunday.

...

Canales said, eager to see his family and get back to work in his home country.

Poll: Seven in 10 Mexicans Have ‘Negative’ View of Caravan
2,346

PEDRO PARDO/AFP/Getty Images27 Nov 20181,060

2:34
Seven in ten Mexicans reportedly have a negative view of Central American migrants in the caravan while majorities oppose giving migrants work visas and support tougher enforcement measures, according to a comprehensive poll conducted by one of Mexico’s biggest newspapers, El Universal.

NBC News on Monday evening reported the results of Sunday’s El Universal survey that found that a majority of Mexicans also support blocking migrants “from entering the country without legal documents” and another 55 percent support “tougher measures on future caravans.”
In addition, a majority of Mexicans (52%) also oppose President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s measure to provide work visas to the migrants. Lopez Obrador will take office on December 1.

On Sunday, the U.S. government closed the San Ysidro border crossing after migrants tried to storm their way into the United States while throwing rocks at Border Patrol officers, who had to use tear gas disperse the migrants.

Tensions have also flared in Tijuana and other parts of Mexico as Mexicans reportedly do not want Central American migrants causing crime, taking jobs, and receiving public services in their communities.

WTF ! Has anyone noticed that the only crossing point chosen by the mercenary invaders is in Commiefornia at T.J. ???
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE FARTHEST POINT OF TRAVEL !!!
There are 40 other points of entry AND EVERYONE ONE OF THEM IS CLOSER. WHY DID THEY PICK THE FARTHEST POINT"

Libertaurum, CAN YOU ANSWER THAT?
Also, since you recognize that pursuit of happiness includes what you choose to do with your life and property, you should be able to recognize that when someone chooses to emigrate that is exactly what they are doing.
My answer:
If I was to walk for my freedom, I would certainly pick the shortest distance. They planned on only 34 days to "walk" 3,500 miles ! That's 103 miles/day, AND THEY ARE STILL FAT !! BTW that is 8.5 MPH for 12 hours a day. Who here can do that? How do 7,000 people spontaneously decide to invade a country 3.500 miles away ?
This make no sense, unless, it was a planned invasion for the most dramatic effect ! Of course, we know that.
