Ticker Change

Trading View now has free widgets for websites,

So I went and created a custom one and put it on,
Removing the kitco ticker that was basically worthless anyway

As you can see, some are updating now with markets open,

Whereas metals and energies are not because they are futures contracts and ny isn't open

Maybe I will go look for cash markets one day for them, or a different exchange

regardless, beggars can't be choosers, so there one goes

the e by the name means not updating currently I assume,

then if you click on any one of them, it will take you directly to the chart for that choice

yep, something in the coding and software that I would have to go search out

new was speaking of garbage showing up on his phone, whereas on mine in vert position, due to responsive sizing, nothing shows

I can make it do as you say by making my desktop larger and smaller also

Not on my iPhone-8. But, that’s my problem. I just don’t have the header that Misty showed, even. I tried all the color schemes, but I found out I liked the Black better than I like the Blue! That’s something...

that is why you can't see it

that is a responsive sizing thing,
and on small screens there isn't room for squat,

try going horizontal and it will probably show

I can make my desktop make it go away also just by changing the width viewing:

the dow, the nikkei, the 10 yr, etc aren't showing yet

we will have to see tomorrow how things go

what I don't like is for free, many aren't updating 24x7

so that sucks

That’s the way my screen looks, vertically and horizontally. How do I resize it to fit that stuff?
Or, maybe I should ask, can I resize it to fit that stuff? Since little is little.

all depends on the exchange the data is being pulled from

cbot/cme/nyc/etc

haven't tried horiz as I never use it in that way anyway

not seeing much for updated prices across the board

I emailed them to see if they have a fix for it,

Don't know if I can have that in the header

maybe xenforo and the ticker aren't playing nice

I second this. Banner seems not to update, however clicking on the ticker symbol will take you to an updated webpage.
Kinda defeats the purpose of a banner, though, if it's not updating.
Otherwise Scorp, I really like the new rolling format. It's a definite improvement.

well, the thing that is kicking me is that some are updating like they should and have been since last evening,

while those I thought were waiting on market opens for a particular exchange, still aren't working

yet, they list cboe, etc as all allowed exchanges

we will see, if not, it will have to be tossed as a failed experiment

to get real time data, one would have to contact each particular exchange, pay up, then pay someone to combine them all into one shiny new ticker parade

that isn't happening

the only ones working properly are the garbage crypts and the sp500,

all the rest are not working
