The Police believe they have an iron shut case against Tiger.

Tiger said he is teed off about the charges as he was just puttering around early in the day practicing for the Ninteenth Hole playoff with John Daly.

More news @ Six!

With his money, I would think he could do better than the George Costanza hairdo. He could have made it go away I'm sure. Just offer to build them a new police station or something. New Hardcore Vests all around, or something like that.

Wow! How the mighty have fallen. Ever since the PGA was pressured to started drug testing for HGH that Tiger Woods hasn't been able to do superhuman things with a golf club anymore.

Celebrity status usually destroys he who acquires it. Yet another high roller on his ass. I love it!
He's not exactly on his ass, probably embarrassed. I believe he is worth close to a billion? He had his day as a golfer, he will never reach those levels again. Yeah, fame has a price.

Be patient. They usually begin like this and it keeps falling. He doesn't look too much like a billionaire in his mug shot

Too bad for Tiger. Nothing good happens after 1am. He should have called a car or a friend or something else. Or he could have avoided drinking altogether.

Oh yeah, you are useful as long as you keep working pay the taxes. Everything is tolerated. You are invincible till they can extract the work out of you.

But I guess the guy needs to sober up and not hurt himself or others. Let him learn the tough lesson in life. I honestly applaud the police officer to do the right thing

Indeed. The taxi's will drive ya home for free in this county. He must have really smashed, or gotten mouthy cause LEO's are pretty easy on the Elite in PBC. Plus he may still be using drugs, and w/alcohol was really out of it.
Personally I never was a fan once he started bulking up using steroids.

Like Tiger 'needs' to earn $45M in endorsements per year...

But let's jump to conclusions...

Tiger Woods speaks: Alcohol wasn’t involved
By Associated Press

May 29, 2017

Tiger Woods attributed an “unexpected reaction” to prescription medicine for his arrest on a DUI charge that landed him in a Florida jail Monday for nearly four hours.

Woods, the 14-time major champion who had back surgery five weeks ago, was arrested on suspicion of DUI at about 3 a.m. Monday and taken to Palm Beach County jail. He was released on his own recognizance.

An arrest report might be available on Tuesday, Jupiter Police spokeswoman Kristin Rightler said.

“I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions,” Woods said in a statement Monday evening. “I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.”

Woods apologized to his family, friends and fans and said, “I expect more from myself, too.”

“I will do everything in my power to ensure this never happens again,” he said.

Woods, whose 79 victories rank No. 2 on the PGA Tour’s career list, has not competed for nearly four months. He is out for the rest of the season while he recovers from fusion surgery on April 20 in Texas.

In an update posted Wednesday on his website, he said the surgery provided instant relief from pain and he hasn’t “felt this good in years.”

Were there any victims? I don't rejoice in someone's run in with the state that harms them financially or otherwise.

Riiiiight....because I always drive around at 2am after taking RX meds. There's NEVER alcohol involved at that hour.

Breathalyzer was 00.00.
No alcohol.
Leo said he smelled alcohol.
Yeah right.
Probably the same cop who smells pot and calls out the drug dogs.
Officer , what does pot smell like?

Would you be willing to take a smell test with a blindfold?
That's what I thought.

Police Filmed Tiger Woods DUI Debacle
Video shows golfer "unable to walk alone," report says

MAY 30--As if Tiger Woods’s droopy-eyed booking photo was not embarrassing enough, Florida police videotaped the golf star as he stumbled through sobriety tests following his arrest early yesterday for
driving under the influence.

A Jupiter Police Department report notes that the 41-year-old athlete was asleep at the wheel of a running black Mercedes when a patrolman discovered him stopped in the roadway around 2 AM Sunday.

Woods, cops noted, had “extremely slow and slurred speech” and “did not know where he was.” Woods was arrested after failing a series of field sobriety tests. When told that he would have to recite the alphabet backward, Woods confirmed that he understood the directions, saying, “Yes, recite the entire national anthem backwards.”

The report does not indicate whether the field tests were recorded by a police dash cam.

Two breath tests recorded Woods’s blood alcohol content at .000, indicating that he was likely incapacitated due to his ingestion of narcotics. Woods told police that he takes the painkiller Vicodin and other medicines. He also reported having multiple surgeries on his left knee and achilles.

After being transported to the Jupiter Police Department, Woods was videotaped by officers as he was observed in the DUI testing facility. The 12-minute video shows the lethargic Woods slurring his words and “unable to walk alone.”

While the video of a bumbling Woods has not been released by police, it is likely that the recording will become public due to the state’s expansive open records laws.

In a statement yesterday, Woods said that he had an "unexpected reaction to prescribed medications.”

A mandatory PSA message.

Some court ordered "at home" counseling.

100 autographed golf balls for the judge and prosecutor (to be sold at a later date) .....and Tiger will be banging more Perkins waitresses by July.

I thought that he refused the breath test?

I can't even do that stone cold sober!!
I was actually able to do it, but I had to stop and make sure every 3 or 4 letters or so. Something that I wouldn't be able to do after a couple brewskis. I have a hard time sober with the standing on one leg, and the other 6" off the ground thing as well. You gotta be a Gymnist, or a Muay Thai expert to do that one.

My wife got busted for DUI and she wasn't drinking at all. She's just a bad driver. The officer said all kinds of stuff in order to cover up and protect the badge. Did you ever meet an asshole who was never wrong?

BREAKING: Cops release police radio 'chatter' and photos of Tiger Woods' banged up Mercedes Benz with two gashed tires as they discovered the sleeping golfer during DUI arrest in Jupiter, Florida
  • Jupiter police are about to release bodycam footage of Tiger Woods who they found asleep at the wheel of his running car in the wee hours Monday
  • Meanwhile, they have released photos of the banged up $220,000 Mercedes
  • Both tire rims on the driver's side of the Mercedes had some small but visible damage, while the front and rear tires on that side were flat
  • There was also some minor damage to the bumper on the driver's side, and scuffs and scratches on the rear bumper
  • The 41-year-old golfer had to be woken up by an officer and stated that he did not know where he was after first claiming he had driven from California
  • 'I asked Woods where he was going to which he stated he did not know, he just likes to drive,' the arresting officer's affidavit states
  • His speech was 'extremely slow and slurred' according to the report, and he failed four field sobriety tests
  • Woods did submit to a breathalyzer and blew a .000 both times, which suggests that there was no alcohol in his system but he was on presciption drugs

Sad to say it begets the question how much did the police get paid to cover up the DUI ??
