this stuff is getting real tiresome,
did not believe I would have to keep after this for this long,
but there is still no let up in the propaganda,
no change in growth over time,
growth rate pegged back when we said it did, but since it has been day after day of steady gains, and not setting the top in growth overall, rate only.

Just thinking.......

4. Ohio has Number of McDonald’s: 822

From 5/30/20; Beer Deaths 2149

Everyone can tell you where 5-10 or more McDonald's are. Sorry, but I can't name one person that died and there are almost 3 times as many.

you bring up a interesting point as that was part of their false propaganda early on,

yet, when you look at it, many of the places with severe issues were 'warm weather' areas, wherein that should have been long gone by now

and too, when you look at world stats, many of the areas in growth are some of those in summer or coming into summer, again defeating those earlier statements.

I guess my point being, there is an awful lot of bs out there, and not much of it real, and hasn't been real from the jump.

They may know what this is, and what it is about, but they sure aren't letting us in on it. The misinformation train continues to roll on with different stories and fantasies, many contradicting earlier statements.

Maybe being locked down inside is a big part of it. NW Ohio we have just gotten nice weather the last few weeks. So people are out and about for a few weeks and zero increase in the numbers of my county. My county 21 cases, 5 hospitalized, 2 deaths. First death was an 85 yo F smoker in poor health & that was when this first started in late March.

First run of nice weather strung together and in 5 days we have gone from 651 new cases to 366 new cases.
That really makes me question the average year flu numbers vs the beer virus.

Of course they all report all the numbers different so it is hard to compare. One thing I did notice until this year it is hard to find the number of deaths associated with the seasonal flu.

So we have had 36350 cases with more testing and hysteria than ever. The dates also seem to line up nicely.

I can't find the 2018 death data but 2017 was a tame year & there were 2200 deaths. Currently we are at 2258! They say 2018 was much worse than 2017!

As I read it it all seems to stop at 2017 when there was a big spike in 2018. Was that a test run?

By Age
Seniors are the age group most at risk from influenza and pneumonia. The older people are, the more likely they are to die from these illnesses. (The death rate for younger age groups is too small to be reliably calculated in most states.)

Go to the link to see the chart that is identical to our current death age group %.

https://www.livestories.com/statistics/ohio/influenza-flu-pneumonia-deaths-mortality

I found this quick. https://www.daytondailynews.com/new...-worst-years-here-why/DU8Exqj8hxWVIAGpYWmu5N/

The number of influenza-related hospitalizations in Ohio this 2018 season was the highest in five years, according to the final state flu season data released Friday.

The figures were prompted by an early start, early peak and long season, officials said.

The 17,397 flu-related hospitalization cases reported for the 2017-18 flu season were more than twice as many as last season’s 8,661 cases reported by the Ohio Department of Health.

The severity of any flu season, which runs from early October through May, is difficult to predict, and it swings each year, said Sietske de Fijter, state epidemiologist.

“The only thing that’s predictable about the flu is that it is unpredictable,” de Fijter said

Public health officials mobilize each year to encourage vaccinations to slow the spread of the virus, which can lead to not only missed school or work but also death.

At its peak in January, there were more than 1,800 Ohio flu-related hospitalizations in one week. There were also four pediatric deaths this season related to the flu, including one child in Dayton.

De Fijter said this year the flu season started early, peaked earlier than usual and continued for a long season that led to high numbers of cases not only in Ohio but also around the U.S.

The flu vaccine was about 36 percent effective this season, according to CDC’s early estimate reported in February. That is a higher effective rate than was feared after the Southern hemisphere, which experiences the flu season first, had a low vaccine effectiveness rate, de Fijter said.

However, even if someone is vaccinated and still gets the flu, they typically have milder symptoms than if they were unvaccinated.

A driver of the high rates of hospitalizations was the prevalence of the nasty H3N2 flu strain. The strain leads to higher rates of severe cases, and past years with high flu hospitalizations were also years when H3N2 was prevalent, said de Fijter.

Toward the end of the season, flu cases shifted from H3N2 to H1N1, which is a strain that typically causes less hospitalizations than the H3N2 strain.

The flu season prompted local hospitals to restrict children under the age of 14 and anyone with flu symptoms from visiting patients. Bryan Bucklew, president and CEO of the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association, said the region’s hospitals had not had to implement visitor restrictions for flu season in several years.

“What we did not anticipate and what we saw was the season started to peak early in the winter, and it went on for a long time. If I need to wrap it up with one word, it would be ‘long,’” she said.

High counts of flu-related hospital stays were reported around the country, officials said.

“The cases kind of went off the charts this year,” de Fijter said. “It’s just a national phenomenon this year.”

“The number of hospitalizations was significantly above our five-year average,” Bucklew said.

Hospitals rescinded the restrictions in late March.

Bucklew said hospitals prepare for the season through hospital employees getting flu shots and preparing more beds than needed during slower periods.

He said some of the groups most impacted by the flu this year were the groups typically most susceptible, like older residents, children and those with compromised immune systems.

This is disturbing for a lot of angles.
This makes the lock down a total joke.
This makes the numbers so much better it's incredible.
This makes them conspirators with politicians at the least or tyrants or purposly destroying people lives & businesses.

https://theohiostar.com/2020/06/02/...rsing-homes-far-higher-than-national-average/

In Ohio, 70 percent of COVID-19 deaths have happened in long-term care facilities, far above the national average of 42 percent, data show.

The report comes from FreOpp.

The disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 affects the elderly far more severely, on average, than younger individuals.
But it turns out that among those who are elderly, deaths are concentrated even further among those living in long term care facilities. This has implications for both those who live in such facilities and those who don’t.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2.1 million people live in nursing homes or residential care facilities, representing 0.6% of the U.S. population.
The CDC says both the congregate nature and resident population (older adults often with underlying chronic medical conditions) make nursing home populations at a high risk of being affected by respiratory pathogens like COVID-19 as well as other pathogens, including multidrug-resistant organisms (e.g., Carbapenemase-producing organisms, Candida auris ).

As demonstrated by the COVID-19 pandemic, a strong infection prevention and control (IPC) program is critical to protect both residents and healthcare personnel (HCP), the CDC says.

The CDC also says facilities should report these to the health department:

  • Resident or HCP with suspected or confirmed COVID-19,
  • Resident with severe respiratory infection resulting in hospitalization or death, or
  • ≥ 3 residents or HCP with new-onset respiratory symptoms within 72 hours of each other.

FREOPP says other nations report a similar situation.

A study by researchers at the International Long Term Care Policy Network of fatalities in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom found that 40.8 percent of reported COVID-19 fatalities took place in nursing homes.

In response to nursing homes’ vulnerability, the state is doing more testing and sending teams of infection control experts, The Plain Dealer said, quoting Ohio Department of Medicaid Director Maureen Corcoran.

There are “healthcare isolation centers,” or nursing homes around the state that agreed to quarantine and treat coronavirus patients. Each nursing home has been assigned to a nearby hospital to handle any COVID-19 cases.

The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity (FreOpp) says it conducts original research on expanding economic opportunity to those who least have it. FREOPP is committed to deploying the nation’s leading scholars and the tools of individual liberty, free enterprise, and technological innovation to serve this mission.

How can you have 27 new deaths yet only 11 new to the ICU? Are these people dying at home? Are they not getting medical care?
How can you have 36 average deaths over 21 days yet only 16 average over 21 days submitted to the ICU?
Why do they present the numbers so all we see is bigger and bigger numbers?

I know, this thread's existence is only to show how fake they are :dduck::dduck::dduck::dduck:

well they finally got their wish, with a cross over of 2M cases in the Us, they now have a plural million

even with all of their lockdowns and threats about the boo hoo flu, the numbers continue to rise consistently,

open economy or not, day after day, rises in cases and deads,

there have been no crazy spikes, just steady increases day after day, week after week

and that is with them throwing everything at it to pump the numbers

“With her leadership and help in the first year, we focused on some very important things. Lead point poisoning, infant mortality, youth homelessness, suicide prevention. And just really the modernization of our public health system,” DeWine said during Thursday’s news conference on COVID-19.
Lance Himes, who currently serves as general counsel for the Ohio Department of Health, has been appointed as interim director.
Acton has become a household name in Ohio amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
