No Leaks – CIA Director Mike Pompeo Met With Kim Jong-Un Over Easter…
Posted on April 18, 2018by sundance

During the Easter holiday weekend, CIA Director Mike Pompeo traveled to Pyongyang North Korea and met with Kim Jong Un, laying the groundwork for an upcoming summit between Kim and President Trump. There were no leaks about the meeting.

“We’ll either have a very good meeting or we won’t have a good meeting; and maybe we won’t even have a meeting at all, depending on what’s going in. But I think that there’s a great chance to solve a world problem.” ~ President Trump

President Trump Energy Strategy Yielding Massive Geopolitical and Economic Benefits…
Posted on April 23, 2018by sundance

On June 29th, 2017, CTH drew attention to the advanced U.S. energy policy as it was being announced, and the media avoided coverage. At the time our headline was: “Stratospheric in Consequence – Trump Policy: Unleashing American Energy Independence”.
The bottom-line was simple. It was clearly visible that POTUS Trump had a plan to unleash the U.S. energy sector as part a much larger larger economic and national security strategy. The concept was so radical, and the potential ramifications so consequential, it was stunning how no financial media were putting the dots together.
Trump’s geopolitical energy strategy actually underpinned the national security interests with Russia, China, Iran and North Korea. Additionally, the same energy policy was one of the four corners of the MAGAnomic trade policy; currently becoming more visible.
Check out today’s headline from Reuters, and think about how outside-the-box thinking has brought about these results:

(Tweet LinkArticle Link)
From the article: MOSCOW/LONDON (Reuters) – As OPEC’s efforts to balance the oil market bear fruit, U.S. producers are reaping the benefits – and flooding Europe with a record amount of crude.
Russia paired with the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries last year in cutting oil output jointly by 1.8 million barrels per day (bpd), a deal they say has largely rebalanced the market and one that has helped elevate benchmark Brent prices close to four-year highs.
Now, the relatively high prices brought about by that pact, coupled with surging U.S. output, are making it harder to sell Russian, Nigerian and other oil grades in Europe, traders said.
“U.S. oil is on offer everywhere,” said a trader with a Mediterranean refiner, who regularly buys Russian and Caspian Sea crude and has recently started purchasing U.S. oil. “It puts local grades under a lot of pressure.”

U.S. oil output is expected to hit 10.7 million bpd this year, rivaling that of top producers Russia and Saudi Arabia. (more)

Yes, that article is describing exactly what you think it does. U.S. oil exports are countering the coordinated activity of OPEC and Russia. This trade strategy greatly diminishes the geopolitical influence of Russia and Iran who are dependent on oil exports to leverage policy of dependent nations.
Because economies of Russia and Iran are so heavily dependent on oil revenue to subsidize military expansion, any alternative by the U.S. reduces the militaristic ability of our geopolitical adversaries.
We noted the possible consequences in in two prior articles June 28th and June 29th2017, in the lead-up to the Baltic Summit attended by President Trump:
2017: “Let me be clear about one crucial point. The United States will never use energy to coerce your nations, and we cannot allow others to do so,” President Trump said at a press conference flanked by European leaders. “You don’t want to have a monopoly or a monopolistic situation.” (NBC article link)
President Trump and Energy Secretary Rick Perry, together with EPA Secretary Scott Pruitt and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, are doing something with energy independence that was long discussed but never acted upon. Forget the Paris Climate Treaty, this Trump action on energy development is in a stratosphere thought almost unimaginable.

Together the entire cabinet has studied, formulated and instituted an executive American energy policy platform to go beyond mere energy independence, and actually start using energy resources as an export commodity for economic growth.
Pause for a moment and consider just how monumental that approach actually is; and also overlay the independent national security ramifications therein. The intensely consequential outcome is a visible representation of ‘America-First’ principles applied to deliver MAGA level shifts in the future of our nation. Massive possibilities for wealth creation at local and state levels; and simultaneous national security interests. Win – Win – Win… And yet stunningly this result is only in one sector of national security and national economics.

Lastly, not only does the U.S. go beyond energy independent into being an energy export nation…. but, also remember how GDP growth is factored?

GDP is the combined value of all U.S. goods and services, minus our imports. The less we import the less is deducted from our GDP growth. The more we export, the more we add to the GDP growth and/or offset any imports. Beyond the consequential geopolitical value, exporting oil means we gain massive domestic economic value.

This is winning BIGLY.

President Trump and Kanye West Fold The Political Space-Time Continuum – The Internets Go Bananas…
Posted on April 25, 2018by sundance

Andrew Breitbart famously said: “politics is downstream from pop culture“. Boy, do I wish Andrew were alive today to see President Trump, Kanye West and even Kim Kardashian-West fold the political universe onto itself and create a new MAGA reality.

Even the mere possibility of removing the currency and value within identity politics is driving the far-left absolutely bananas. The activist ‘democrats’ are beyond apoplectic. This Winning is funny stuff.

Kim Kardashian West

@KimKardashian

To the media trying to demonize my husband let me just say this... your commentary on Kanye being erratic & his tweets being disturbing is actually scary. So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair

He’s a free thinker, is that not allowed in America? Because some of his ideas differ from yours you have to throw in the mental health card? That’s just not fair. He’s actually out of the sunken place when he’s being himself which is very expressive

Kanye will never run in the race of popular opinion and we know that and that’s why I love him and respect him and in a few years when someone else says the same exact thing but they aren’t labeled the way he is and you will all praise them! Kanye is years ahead of his time

I am so happy Trump is our President. He loves this country and the American people. If he does nothing else, he's already done more than I had hoped for.

Here's a video that gets played a lot on one Q site in honor of President Trump.

Epic – First Lady Melania Trump Selected “Clinton China Service”, Previously Stolen by Bill and Hillary, For First State Dinner…
Posted on April 25, 2018by sundance

This is far too epic-worthy not to achieve a bit more attention.
Twitter handle IWillRedPillYou did a little digging on the more nuanced aspects from last night’s State Dinner, held by President Trump and Melania Trump to honor French President Macron and Brigitte Macron, and discovered a hilarious detail:

“Get this: The China (dinette set) Trump Ordered Used Tuesday Night for the Macron Dinner? Same China Bill and Hillary Clinton STOLE from the White House and Were Forced to Return (Dead Serious – Trump = Master Troll)” [Tweet Link]
Yes, it’s true.
The China, personally selected by First Lady Melania Trump, was originally the “Clinton China Service”, as first identified by CNN reporter Kate Bennett:

Making the selection even more appropriate, Bill and Hillary Clinton stole this China Service from the White House and were forced to return it in 2001.
ABC NEWS (2001) Former President Clinton and his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, have sent $28,000 worth of household goods back to Washington after questions arose over whether the items were intended as personal gifts or donations to the White House.
[…] After they were criticized for taking $190,000 worth of china, flatware, rugs, televisions, sofas and other gifts with them when they left, the Clintons announced last week that they would pay for $86,000 worth of gifts, or nearly half the amount.
Their latest decision to send back $28,000 in gifts brings to $114,000 the value of items the Clintons have either decided to pay for or return. (full link)

Just checked my book and it appears the china is the Clinton China Service.

History Made: North Korea Kim Jong-Un and South Korea Moon Jae-in Cross the DMZ During Historic Summit…
Posted on April 26, 2018by sundance

Wow. You have to watch this video to see how history was just encapsulated.
North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in meet at the village of Panmunjom, the historic site where the Korean War armistice was signed in 1953 for the start of talks between the two countries.
Their unified meeting is the third inter-Korean summit, but this meeting is the first time a leader from the communist North has entered the democratic South. South Korea then holds a welcoming ceremony for the North Korean leader that includes full military honors and a military guard review.
.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un writes: “new history starts now; age of peace, from the starting point of history” on guest visitor book at Peace House.

WHITE HOUSE – On the occasion of Republic of Korea President Moon Jae-ins historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, we wish the Korean people well. We are hopeful that talks will achieve progress toward a future of peace and prosperity for the entire Korean Peninsula.
The United States appreciates the close coordination with our ally, the Republic of Korea, and looks forward to continuing robust discussions in preparation for the planned meeting between President Donald J. Trump and Kim Jong Un in the coming weeks.

Another Trump Miracle: North Korea and South Korea Meet to Bring “Peace to the Peninsula”
by Jim Hoft April 27, 2018 64 Comments
Guest post by Joe Hoft

A few months ago the media was saying that President Trump was fast creating World War III.
Today the two Korean Leaders met to end the Korean War and to negotiate a complete Korean denuclearization.

Today in Asia comes the biggest news in 60 years –

The leaders of North and South Korea have pledged to jointly eliminate the risk of war and work together to achieve complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
The joint statement Friday, from the border truce village of Panmunjom, concluded a historic one-day bilateral summit aimed at achieving peace between the two adversarial nations for the first time in more than sixty years. The meeting of the Korean leaders was the first in more than a decade.

The statement was released during the signing of a pact between South Korean President Moon Jae-In and his North Korean counterpart Kim Jong Un seeking to establish a “permanent” and “solid” peace on the Peninsula.

President Trump’s actions led to today’s meeting but many said that the President was going to start World War III after his comments and tweets towards North Korea’s leader ‘rocket man’ Kim Jong Un, tweeting, “Being nice to Rocket Man hasn’t worked in 25 years, why would it work now? Clinton failed, Bush failed, and Obama failed. I won’t fail.”

One of the President’s greatest tweets was towards, the North Korean leader, “Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me “old,” when I would NEVER call him “short and fat?” Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!”

Donald J. Trump

Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me "old," when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!
8:48 PM - Nov 11, 2017 · Vietnam
After this, Trump lovers declared the President ‘the king of Twitter’ but Trump haters called him ‘mad’. The far left liberal Huffington Post reported

President Donald Trump launched into a wild Twitter rant on Saturday after a statement from North Korea referred to him as an “old lunatic.”
“Why would Kim Jong Un insult me by calling me ‘old,’ when I would NEVER call him ‘short and fat?’,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
The president has, however, repeatedly referred to the North Korean leader as a “little rocket man.”
Another far left media site, Politico, quoted an official from the failed Obama administration, stating that President Trump’s rhetoric with Kim Jong Un places the US at the brink of World War III –

U.S. military officials increasingly worry that a mistake or miscommunication — even more than an intentional act of war — could start a nuclear conflict in Korea.
A North Korean provocation, a U.S. warning shot, malicious hackers or a simple accident could be the cause that starts a new war between two nations with a long history of tensions and suspicion.
“Miscalculation is now at a stage [that is] higher than probably any time since the Cuban missile crisis,” former Obama administration Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz said days after President Donald Trump boasted on Twitter that his nuclear button is “a much bigger & more powerful one” than Kim Jong Un’s.
They were all wrong again. Today due to President Trump’s efforts in less than two years in office, North and South Korea are meeting together to negotiate peace in the Peninsula!

Wow: Kim Jong-un Declares “End of All Hostilities” and “Open Road to Unified Korea”…
Posted on April 27, 2018by sundance

Absolutely stunning remarks today from North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un. Not only do both Kim Jong-un (North) and Moon Jae-in (South) discuss peace, but the DPRK actually goes the full-way-forward toward a unified Korean peninsula. Jumping ju-ju bones, these remarks are absolutely gobsmacking.
Kim Jong-un remarks begin at 09:00 of video below. MUST WATCH:
.
This is incredible. Not only does Kim Jong-un commit to a fully denuclearized Korean peninsula, but also the ending of all hostilities; the end of the Korean war; and stunningly the process to begin entering a phase for a completely unified North and South Korea.

We had a generally optimistic sense about swords turned to plowsharesbecause we could see the outline of the approach last year, but this sequence of events goes way beyond what was even contemplated… I’m speechless.
Here’s what we shared more than six months ago:
Rebranding Kim Jong-un Will Likely Be a Key Part of The Strategy
Almost everyone understands the term “re branding”. Don’t laugh when you consider the possibility of re-branding Kim Jong-un; and more importantly, as an outcome, the entire geopolitical architecture of North Korea. Rebranding takes time. This type of re branding takes silent and subtle persuasion.

It’s not a short term process, but look for indicators like this to ever-so-slowly morph. China’s Xi Jinping seeding ploughshares over missiles needs careful and controlled fertilization.
Business suits replacing General’s uniforms would be very good for the people of North Korea. Ultimately that’s an honorable goal.

We’re talking about massive amounts of distrust and psychological misinformation to overcome – because China previously benefited from using/supporting North Korea as a hostile proxy province toward the collective enemy. That historic approach and use of N-Korea was the winning hand for China.
President Trump has changed the dynamic.
The winning economic hand for China, specifically Chairman/President Xi Jinping now rests on being able to change the direction of the DPRK and Kim Jong-un.
Kim Jong-un’s sense of self and disposition has been defined by rockets, military and such. His personal currency is ‘loyalty’ and how ‘loved’ he perceives himself to be in the eyes of his audience.
In order for China to generate enough influence (toward the larger objective of shifting away from militaristic endeavors) Chairman Xi Jinping will now need to shift emphasis on what generates Kim Jong-un’s currency. Loyalty and love must be achieved by alternate methods. Seeds must be planted, fertilized and nurtured.
Turning rockets into ploughshares is a good strategy.

[…] “Here in Seoul, architectural wonders like the Sixty-Three Building and the Lotte World Tower — very beautiful — grace the sky and house the workers of many growing industries.
Your citizens now help to feed the hungry, fight terrorism, and solve problems all over the world. And in a few months, you will host the world and you will do a magnificent job at the 23rd Olympic Winter Games. Good luck. (Applause.)
The Korean miracle extends exactly as far as the armies of free nations advanced in 1953 — 24 miles to the north. There, it stops; it all comes to an end. Dead stop. The flourishing ends, and the prison state of North Korea sadly begins.
Workers in North Korea labor grueling hours in unbearable conditions for almost no pay. Recently, the entire working population was ordered to work for 70 days straight, or else pay for a day of rest.
Families live in homes without plumbing, and fewer than half have electricity. Parents bribe teachers in hopes of saving their sons and daughters from forced labor. More than a million North Koreans died of famine in the 1990s, and more continue to die of hunger today.
Among children under the age of five, nearly 30 percent of afflicted — and are afflicted by stunted growth due to malnutrition. And yet, in 2012 and 2013, the regime spent an estimated $200 million — or almost half the money that it allocated to improve living standards for its people — to instead build even more monuments, towers, and statues to glorify its dictators.
What remains of the meager harvest of the North Korean economy is distributed according to perceived loyalty to a twisted regime. Far from valuing its people as equal citizens, this cruel dictatorship measures them, scores them, and ranks them based on the most arbitrary indications of their allegiance to the state.
Those who score the highest in loyalty may live in the capital city. Those who score the lowest starve. A small infraction by one citizen, such as accidently staining a picture of the tyrant printed in a discarded newspaper, can wreck the social credit rank of his entire family for many decades.
An estimated 100,000 North Koreans suffer in gulags, toiling in forced labor, and enduring torture, starvation, rape, and murder on a constant basis.
In one known instance, a 9-year-old boy was imprisoned for 10 years because his grandfather was accused of treason. In another, a student was beaten in school for forgetting a single detail about the life of Kim Jong-un.
Soldiers have kidnapped foreigners and forced them to work as language tutors for North Korean spies.
In the part of Korea that was a stronghold for Christianity before the war, Christians and other people of faith who are found praying or holding a religious book of any kind are now detained, tortured, and in many cases, even executed.
North Korean women are forced to abort babies that are considered ethnically inferior. And if these babies are born, the newborns are murdered.
One womans baby born to a Chinese father was taken away in a bucket. The guards said it did not deserve to live because it was impure.
So why would China feel an obligation to help North Korea?
The horror of life in North Korea is so complete that citizens pay bribes to government officials to have themselves exported aboard as slaves. They would rather be slaves than live in North Korea.
To attempt to flee is a crime punishable by death. One person who escaped remarked, “When I think about it now, I was not a human being. I was more like an animal. Only after leaving North Korea did I realize what life was supposed to be.”
And so, on this peninsula, we have watched the results of a tragic experiment in a laboratory of history. It is a tale of one people, but two Koreas. One Korea in which the people took control of their lives and their country, and chose a future of freedom and justice, of civilization, and incredible achievement. And another Korea in which leaders imprison their people under the banner of tyranny, fascism, and oppression. The result of this experiment are in, and they are totally conclusive.
When the Korean War began in 1950, the two Koreas were approximately equal in GDP per capita. But by the 1990s, South Koreas wealth had surpassed North Korea’s by more than 10 times. And today, the Souths economy is over 40 times larger. You started the same a short while ago, and now you’re 40 times larger. You’re doing something right.
Considering the misery wrought by the North Korean dictatorship, it is no surprise that it has been forced to take increasingly desperate measures to prevent its people from understanding this brutal contrast.
Because the regime fears the truth above all else, it forbids virtually all contact with the outside world. Not just my speech today, but even the most commonplace facts of South Korean life are forbidden knowledge to the North Korean people. Western and South Korean music is banned. Possession of foreign media is a crime punishable by death. Citizens spy on fellow citizens, their homes are subject to search at any time, and their every action is subject to surveillance. In place of a vibrant society, the people of North Korea are bombarded by state propaganda practically every waking hour of the day.
North Korea is a country ruled as a cult. At the center of this military cult is a deranged belief in the leaders destiny to rule as parent protector over a conquered Korean Peninsula and an enslaved Korean people.
The more successful South Korea becomes, the more decisively you discredit the dark fantasy at the heart of the Kim regime.
In this way, the very existence of a thriving South Korean republic threatens the very survival of the North Korean dictatorship.
This city and this assembly are living proof that a free and independent Korea not only can, but does stand strong, sovereign, and proud among the nations of the world. (Applause.)

Here, the strength of the nation does not come from the false glory of a tyrant. It comes from the true and powerful glory of a strong and great people — the people of the Republic of Korea — a Korean people who are free to live, to flourish, to worship, to love, to build, and to grow their own destiny.
In this Republic, the people have done what no dictator ever could — you took, with the help of the United States, responsibility for yourselves and ownership of your future. You had a dream — a Korean dream — and you built that dream into a great reality.
In so doing, you performed the miracle on the Hahn that we see all around us, from the stunning skyline of Seoul to the plains and peaks of this beautiful landscape. You have done it freely, you have done it happily, and you have done it in your own very beautiful way.
This reality — this wonderful place — your success is the greatest cause of anxiety, alarm, and even panic to the North Korean regime. That is why the Kim regime seeks conflict abroad — to distract from total failure that they suffer at home.
Since the so-called armistice, there have been hundreds of North Korean attacks on Americans and South Koreans. These attacks have included the capture and torture of the brave American soldiers of the USS Pueblo, repeated assaults on American helicopters, and the 1969 drowning [downing] of a U.S. surveillance plane that killed 31 American servicemen. The regime has made numerous lethal incursions in South Korea, attempted to assassinate senior leaders, attacked South Korean ships, and tortured Otto Warmbier, ultimately leading to that fine young man’s death.
All the while, the regime has pursued nuclear weapons with the deluded hope that it could blackmail its way to the ultimate objective. And that objective we are not going to let it have. We are not going to let it have. All of Korea is under that spell, divided in half. South Korea will never allow what’s going on in North Korea to continue to happen.
The North Korean regime has pursued its nuclear and ballistic missile programs in defiance of every assurance, agreement, and commitment it has made to the United States and its allies. It’s broken all of those commitments. After promising to freeze its plutonium program in 1994, it repeated [reaped] the benefits of the deal and then — and then immediately continued its illicit nuclear activities.
In 2005, after years of diplomacy, the dictatorship agreed to ultimately abandon its nuclear programs and return to the Treaty on Non-Proliferation. But it never did. And worse, it tested the very weapons it said it was going to give up. In 2009, the United States gave negotiations yet another chance, and offered North Korea the open hand of engagement. The regime responded by sinking a South Korean Navy ship, killing 46 Korean sailors. To this day, it continues to launch missiles over the sovereign territory of Japan and all other neighbors, test nuclear devices, and develop ICBMs to threaten the United States itself. The regime has interpreted Americas past restraint as weakness. This would be a fatal miscalculation. This is a very different administration than the United States has had in the past.
Today, I hope I speak not only for our countries, but for all civilized nations, when I say to the North: Do not underestimate us, and do not try us. We will defend our common security, our shared prosperity, and our sacred liberty.
We did not choose to draw here, on this peninsula — (applause) — this magnificent peninsula — the thin line of civilization that runs around the world and down through time. But here it was drawn, and here it remains to this day. It is the line between peace and war, between decency and depravity, between law and tyranny, between hope and total despair. It is a line that has been drawn many times, in many places, throughout history. To hold that line is a choice free nations have always had to make. We have learned together the high cost of weakness and the high stakes of its defense.
America’s men and women in uniform have given their lives in the fight against Nazism, imperialism, Communism and terrorism.
America does not seek conflict or confrontation, but we will never run from it. History is filled with discarded regimes that have foolishly tested Americas resolve.
Anyone who doubts the strength or determination of the United States should look to our past, and you will doubt it no longer. We will not permit America or our allies to be blackmailed or attacked. We will not allow American cities to be threatened with destruction. We will not be intimidated. And we will not let the worst atrocities in history be repeated here, on this ground, we fought and died so hard to secure. (Applause.)
That is why I have come here, to the heart of a free and flourishing Korea, with a message for the peace-loving nations of the world: The time for excuses is over. Now is the time for strength. If you want peace, you must stand strong at all times. (Applause.) The world cannot tolerate the menace of a rogue regime that threatens with nuclear devastation.
All responsible nations must join forces to isolate the brutal regime of North Korea — to deny it and any form — any form of it. You cannot support, you cannot supply, you cannot accept. We call on every nation, including China and Russia, to fully implement U.N. Security Council resolutions, downgrade diplomatic relations with the regime, and sever all ties of trade and technology.
[…] It is our responsibility and our duty to confront this danger together — because the longer we wait, the greater the danger grows, and the fewer the options become. (Applause.) And to those nations that choose to ignore this threat, or, worse still, to enable it, the weight of this crisis is on your conscience.
I also have come here to this peninsula to deliver a message directly to the leader of the North Korean dictatorship: The weapons you are acquiring are not making you safer. They are putting your regime in grave danger. Every step you take down this dark path increases the peril you face.
North Korea is not the paradise your grandfather envisioned. It is a hell that no person deserves. Yet, despite every crime you have committed against God and man, you are ready to offer, and we will do that — we will offer a path to a much better future. It begins with an end to the aggression of your regime, a stop to your development of ballistic missiles, and complete, verifiable, and total denuclearization. (Applause.)
A sky-top view of this peninsula shows a nation of dazzling light in the South and a mass of impenetrable darkness in the North. We seek a future of light, prosperity, and peace. But we are only prepared to discuss this brighter path for North Korea if its leaders cease their threats and dismantle their nuclear program.
The sinister regime of North Korea is right about only one thing: The Korean people do have a glorious destiny, but they could not be more wrong about what that destiny looks like. The destiny of the Korean people is not to suffer in the bondage of oppression, but to thrive in the glory of freedom. (Applause.)
What South Koreans have achieved on this peninsula is more than a victory for your nation. It is a victory for every nation that believes in the human spirit. And it is our hope that, someday soon, all of your brothers and sisters of the North will be able to enjoy the fullest of life intended by God.
~ U.S. President Donald Trump (Nov 8, 2017)
This speech was delivered in Seoul, South Korea. However, the most important audience was in Beijing China.

The three men released from North Korea into the custody of United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo put out a joint statement as they traveled home to the U.S.
Kim Hak Song, Kim Dong Cul, and Kim Sang-Duk said, according to Reuters:
We would like to express our deep appreciation to the United States government, President Trump, Secretary Pompeo, and the people of the United States for bringing us home. We thank God, and all our families and friends who prayed for us and for our return. God Bless America, the greatest nation in the world.
Pompeo gave a briefing to reporters traveling with him on the trip back to the U.S. from North Korea. Asked if there were any glitches during the 13-hour stay, Pompeo said, “It was a long day. But there were no moments where I felt like we were going to be anything but successful in the day.”
Asked about what may have ultimately led Kim to release the prisoners, Pompeo replied, “I think that Chairman Kim is trying to set good conditions for the summit, right. I think we’re – I think we are having good conversations, productive conversations. And so I think the work that President Trump has done to put us in this place made this possible.”

Another reporter asked Pompeo what he said to the prisoners upon receiving them. Pompeo said, “I welcomed them back. Although we’re not quite back home yet, I welcomed them back. They were happy to be with us on this plane, to be sure.”
“We have the three Americans on the plane, which is incredibly exciting. They seem to be in good health. The doctors are with them now, but all indications are at this point that their health is as good as could be given that they’ve been held,” said Pompeo. “They all walked up the stairs themselves, with their own power, so good enough to do that.” He added that they should soon have a more complete readout of the three men’s health. The plane that the group later met up with in Japan was expected to have “more robust medical capabilities” to attend to the three.
The plane carrying Pompeo and the released prisoners landed in Alaska late Wednesday before continuing on to Washington, DC.

Very Stable Genius...........

The Evolution of Chairman Kim Jong-un, aka. ‘Little Panda’…
Posted on May 9, 2018by sundance

Last year during punditry discussions of North Korea, the traditional crowd were waxing philosophically about military expansionism, and the threat of nuclear war as a likely outcome.

However, all of those Gordian-knot sellers held references from a fundamentally flawed foundation; they viewed the DPRK as a separate nation from China. There were a few voices who challenged geopolitical orthodoxy and presented a different view; the DPRK as a proxy province of China.
When you think of North Korea as a proxy province of China, everything changes. Every possible action and consequence changes. If the DPRK is inherently a proxy province of Beijing, then North Korea already had nuclear weapons; or at least access to nuclear weapons as needed; the argument to stop them was moot.
Additionally, if Beijing was structurally and factually controlling Pyongyang, attaining a peaceful Korean peninsular between Kim Jong-un and his South Korean neighbor Moon Jae-in, was entirely different.

The first step in achieving less hostility becomes removing the ruse behind the China-DPRK disconnect.
The first step in removing the ruse is to treat China as having full control over the problem.
Now, it must be pointed out that no-one prior to President Trump would have ever gamed-out how to do this. Heck, no-one prior to President Trump would ever admit that North Korea was essentially a proxy province of China.

The paradigm shift therein is so consequential, as evidenced in the 2017 analysis of doom, none of the intellectual set could/would even fathom it. Hence, almost none of the smart set could/would accurately discuss how to solve the issue, or even understand what POTUS Trump was doing. In essence their points of debate were built upon a false premise.
Hopefully, with hindsight now becoming less opaque, more people are realizing the outcome(s) today are entirely because the Trump approach was looking at a different problem. President Trump’s solution came from accepting a relationship that was factually evident. This is what happened.

Almost no western (U.S. or EU) media seem to understand the historic concepts behind the cultures of communist China and Asia in the world of strategic politics. Because they don’t understand the outlook, U.S. media cannot fathom solving problems.
There is no doubt President Trump thought out a long-term strategy regarding North Korea and China. The approach was evident in how President Trump presented his messaging toward the people of china. He clearly understood Beijing’s preferred panda image was a mask.
President Trump played the game and very publicly discussed friendship toward Chairman Xi Jinping. Consistent praise for Chairman Xi based on his character, strength and purposeful leadership retained the panda approach.
To build upon that projected and strategic message – President Trump seeded the background by appointing Ambassador Terry Branstad, a 30-year personal friend of President Xi Jinping.

To enhance and amplify the message President Trump used Mar-a-Lago as the venue for their first visit, not the White House. And President Trump’s beautiful granddaughter, Arabella, sweetly serenaded the Chinese First Family twice in Mandarin Chinese song showing the utmost respect for the guests and later for the hosts.
Why the constant warm messaging? What was the purpose? What did all this have to do with a geopolitical confrontation, and North Korea?
It’s really rather simple actually. President Trump played to the panda image, while understanding that Beijing fully controlled Pyongyang – the red dragon aspect.

Historic Chinese geopolitical policy, vis-a-vis their totalitarian control over political consequences, and their diplomacy through silence, is evident in the strategic use of the space between carefully chosen words, not just the words themselves.
Each time China takes aggressive action (red dragon), or instructs an aggressive action to take place (via Kim Jong-un), China projects a panda face through silence and non-response to opinion of that action;…. and the action continues. Wash, rinse, repeat.
The red dragon will say one necessary thing publicly, while manipulating another necessary thing completely privately. The Art of War.
President Trump was the first U.S. President to understand how the red dragon hides behind the panda mask and play the same game. It was specifically because Trump understood the Panda is a mask that President Trump messages warmth toward the Chinese people, and pours vociferous praise upon Xi Jinping, while simultaneously confronting the geopolitical doctrine -the outcomes- of the Xi regime.
In essence President Trump mirrored the behavior of Chairman Xi while confronting their economic and military duplicity within North Korea.
China has no cultural or political space between peace and war; they are a historic nation based on two points of polarity. They see peace and war as coexisting with each other.
China accepts and believes opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Flowing between these polar states is a natural dynamic to be used -with serious contemplation- in advancing objectives as needed.
Peace or war. Win or lose. Yin and Yang. Culturally there is no middle position in dealings with China; they are not constitutionally capable of understanding or valuing the western philosophy of mutual benefit where concession of terms gains a larger outcome. If it does not benefit China, it is not done. The outlook is simply, a polarity of peace or war. In politics or economics the same perspective is true. It is a zero-sum outlook.

President Trump aligned all activity to benefit China ONLY IF the North Korean challenge was solved.
As an outcome, China has now begun openly displaying the relationship with North Korea previously kept hidden.
Technically, there is no denuclearization of North Korea because China has nuclear weapons and China always controlled North Korea. However, President Trump has removed the veil covering the secret without technically confronting it head-on.
In the future, North Korea will likely be as much of a communist system as China. The key changes will be the action inside the buffer-zone between communism (China, Chairman Xi Jinping) and democracy (South Korea, President Moon Jae-in).
This new reality we see today the first official notation of Kim Jong-un as “Chairman” Kim Jong-un:

Secretary Pompeo

@SecPompeo

I had productive meetings in Pyongyang with Chairman Kim Jong-un and made progress. I'm delighted to bring home three Americans.

North Korea will now enter a geopolitical phase of economic activity and expansion similar to China 1995 through today. Chairman Xi (Big Panda), will guide his protege’ Chairman Kim (Little Panda) in all matters of strategic economics, thereby guaranteeing the continuance of his influence.
It will be interesting to watch how the North Korean people interact with the South Korean people. A similar litmus or reference point, albeit not as stark, was available in how Beijing interacted with Hong Kong when China took over.
The natural flow of freedom is toward organic expansion if not held-down by controlling and oppressive government.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration — less than a year and a half into its tenure — has helped secure the release of at least 14 Americans, including three children born in captivity to an American woman and her Canadian husband held by the Afghan Taliban and al-Qaeda-linked Haqqani Network.

Marking the latest in a series of victories by the Trump administration in winning the release of Americans held abroad are the three U.S. citizens liberated this week by the murderous and oppressive North Korean regime.

President Trump Welcomes Americans Home from North Korea

President Donald Trump welcomed Americans Kim Hak Song, Kim Dong Cul, and Kim Sang-Duk home to the United States at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland early Thursday after they were released by their North Korean captors.

The President and First Lady descended the steps of a medical aircraft with the three Americans at approximately 3 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time as a small crowd applauded.
The three were released by North Korea on Wednesday as a gesture of goodwill ahead of an upcoming summit between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, now planned for the island nation of Singapore.
“They are really three incredible people,” Trump told assembled reporters, describing the release as part of a diplomatic process leading up to the summit.

“Frankly, we didn’t think this was going to happen,” he said, adding that he wanted to pay his “warmest respects to the parents of Otto Warmbier,” an American prisoner who died shortly after being returned home last year due to injuries sustained in North Korean custody.
They were released during meetings between Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his North Korean counterparts. Fox News reported that the U.S. did not know with certainty that they were going to be released until they were physically aboard Pompeo’s plane.

The release of the prisoners in advance of formal talks between the U.S. and North Korea is a contrast to the approach used by the Obama administration in negotiating for the release of four American prisoners from Iran. That release came after the Iran nuclear deal was signed in 2015, and was accompanied by the secret transport of billions of dollars in cash from the U.S. to Iran.
Upon their release, the three freed Americans issued a statement:
We would like to express our deep appreciation to the United States government, President Trump, Secretary Pompeo, and the people of the United States for bringing us home. We thank God, and all our families and friends who prayed for us and for our return. God Bless America, the greatest nation in the world.
Warmbier’s family had earlier expressed their well wishes to the families of the freed Americans.

The three were flown from North Korea to Japan, where they boarded a medical plane. After landing to refuel in Anchorage, Alaska, the plane continued onwards to Andrews.

President Trump arrived with the First Lady, Vice President Mike Pence, and Second Lady Karen Pence.

Trump's winning streak rivals one of the greatest streaks in sports
by Steve Cortes, May 15, 2018 01:00 PM

John Wooden, perhaps the best basketball coach of all-time, once led his UCLA Bruins to 88 straight wins over three seasons in the early 1970s, still an NCAA men’s record. That streak, plus 10 national championships, earned him the nickname: the “Wizard of Westwood.”

If President Donald Trump has more win streaks like his present one, he might well become known as the “Wizard of Washington.” From the economy to important victories across the vast Asian continent, America is winning under Trump’s leadership.

The good news this month began with an incredible jobs report. The unemployment rate fell to 3.9 percent, falling under 4 percent for the first time since 2000. Even better, unlike during the Obama presidency, the low jobless rate was not due to people giving up and leaving the workforce. Instead, since Trump’s election, almost 1 million new workers have re-entered the labor market. That movement toward self-sufficiency reaps myriad benefits for our society including more stable families, lower crime, and less government dependency. In fact, an amazing 2 million Americans stopped receiving food stamps during fiscal 2017.

[Also read: Year One List: 81 major Trump achievements, 11 Obama legacy items repealed]

In addition, the quality of the jobs improved as wages accelerated in the first quarter of 2018 at the fastest pace in a decade. This trend particularly benefits minorities. For example, in U.S. history, Hispanic unemployment has registered below 5 percent for only seven months, ever. Amazingly, six of those seven months have occurred in the past year under the pro-growth policies of this president. If President Trump is as racist as media pundits claim he is, he’s remarkably bad at it.

A strong America at home supports a strong America abroad as well. On the international scene, this commander in chief, in contrast to his two predecessors, is restrained in his use of American might, but also clear-eyed in his admonitions to our adversaries.

Last week, he took strong action against the awful Iran nuclear deal. Trump recognizes that allowing Iran to simultaneously pursue both advanced nuclear power technology and potent ballistic missiles sets the stage for a very dangerous Tehran regime in years to come. Moreover, Trump showed our allies in the Middle East (Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia) that he will not let the corporatist globalists of Western Europe dictate American policy toward the corrupt mullahs of Iran. The incredible capture of five top Islamic State leaders last week showed the potency of Americans working in concert with our friends in the region.

[Also read: ‘Blue Wave’ flattens, Trump wave builds, tops Dems on economy, security]

Speaking of our friends, at long last America made good on our promise to our ally Israel and moved our embassy to Jerusalem. In doing so, Trump showed that campaign promises actually matter, and that we believe that Jerusalem is both the capital of the modern state of Israel as well as the eternal capital of all Jewish people.

On the other side of Asia, Trump set the date and location for the historic summit with Kim Jong Un. The recent detente on the peninsula, including an official end to the Korean War, unfolded largely because of Trump’s leadership, according to various South Korean officials. In fact, even the Secretary General of the United Nations concedes that the “straitjacket” pressure of Trump makes a grand denuclearization deal possible. Trump deployed maximum economic restrictions, diplomatic pressure (largely via China), and forceful rhetoric to compel North Korea toward moderation. As a result, with grateful hearts, President Trump and Melania welcomed home three American hostages back to their families and to our land of freedom.

So, while the Quixotic mainstream media tilts at Russian and porn-star windmills, President Trump makes America more prosperous and more safe. May he have many more John Wooden-esque win streaks like the one he’s had so far in May.

Steve Cortes (@CortesSteve) is a CNN Political Commentator and served as a Trump 2016 campaign adviser and on the Trump Hispanic Advisory Council.

Winning!

Trump stares the dragon in the eye and wins!

https://www.yahoo.com/news/us-china-agree-abandon-trade-war-beijing-043915337.html

Beijing (AFP) - Washington and Beijing have agreed to abandon any trade war and back off from imposing tariffs on each other, Chinese state media reported Sunday.

The announcement came after high-level talks in the US capital and followed months of tensions over what President Donald Trump has blasted as an unfair commercial relationship between the two economic giants.

Vice-Premier Liu He, who led Chinese negotiators in Washington said: "The two sides reached a consensus, will not fight a trade war, and will stop increasing tariffs on each other," state-run news agency Xinhua reported Sunday.

Liu called the agreement a "necessity", but added: "At the same time it must be realised that unfreezing the ice cannot be done in a day, solving the structural problems of the economic and trade relations between the two countries will take time."
I guess China realized that the US can forego the cheap trinkets and there were plenty of other providers in the wings like Vietnam who could start to fill the void.

Trump lifts sanctions on ZTE, which was on the sanctions list because the US believed ZTE was creating a massive network of listening devices to spy on America. ZTE was also cooperating with regimes of Iran and N. Korea. Now, I get we are now playing nice with China and N. Korea, but isn't that undermining his tough talk on Iran? Ok, but it saves China a lot of jobs, and that's what we elected Trump for, right?

Also, I'm sure suddenly dropping the trade war has nothing to do with the fact that the Chinese government just offered $500M loan to Trump's business partner in Indonesia.

what are you speaking to?

He started the whole shebang, and now it is being shut down

I have no idea how people call that winning
Call out the dragon. Call his bluff. Then negotiate a truce to save his face. Now he owes you. Right out of Sun Tzu's Art of War.

What get's me is what does the Donald need China for? ...unless there's a Chinese Trump coming hiding in the wings?

seriously, that is how you are going to play it?

the markets are taking this dimwits temper tantrums seriously about steel and lumber tariffs,
along with his beating on the chins,

the chins called his bluff, he went home with his tail between his legs,

having nothing to show for all the braggadocios commentary

he just received a first class ass whipping

the whining by the farm lobby was loud and heard clear, the chins aren't buying our sorghum or soybeans, etc. So what? It means absolutely nothing big picture.

looking at it realistically, we are shipping them lng, oil, and grains. Are you getting the pattern here? Nothing finished goods, all raw mats.

you might have a argument if they quit buying cheerios, or dunkin' fookin' donuts ie finished products, but that is not what this is about.

you haven't heard any large purchases of Boeing planes, GE heavy industrial, Cat Equip, etc. chirp chirp chirp. Can't hear ya donnie.

Then again Trump could be doing this ala Sun Tzu.

声东击西" - Feign an attack in the east and attack in the west. Maybe the trade war was all Kubuki theater to keep the swamp creatures focused on one hand while the other one... does what? That is the question. After all the swamp hawks have been bitching about those Chinese made artificial islands that keep sinking back into the ocean just like that Japanese airport in Kansai.

old,

For me, it is a bummer to watch. So much supposedly going on but no real results. The number of repubs that aren't, the number of persons exposed and still out giving commencement speeches or book tours, along with the number of persons in the schools and .gov who are content with the system as it is rather than what could be. Not only content, but fighting to keep it this way.

If this guy cannot effect real directional change, then longer term it is only a bump in the road towards full socialism and further degradation of liberties. If we cannot get measurable results now, is there any chance in the future that another like him will come along to continue the process of purging? He only has a very limited window of time, and clearly this is not something that can be fixed in the relative short term.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin Discusses China, Trade, ZTE, Suspended Tariffs and NAFTA….
Posted on May 21, 2018by sundance

Economic security is national security. “Economic growth, national security, those are the Presidents’ two most important priorities” ~ Secretary Mnuchin.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin discusses the ongoing trade negotiation with China and the specifics of sector-by-sector agreements in principle. The overall approach by the Trump administration is to balance the trade relationship through opening of Chinese markets to U.S. exports and retain stability within U.S. manufacturing sectors.

.
The dragon is in the details…. and that’s where you find slayer-Secretary Wilbur Ross!
After over a year of discussions and structured way-points, China came into last weeks U.S. trade talks with outstretched steel fists. The delegation they sent to the negotiating table were some of the most loyal and die-hard communist leaders within their national economic team.

It was obvious China is projecting its interests in dragon-mode knowing they are dealing with an entirely different administration than they faced before.
President Trump uses the point of “deficits” because it has a familiar catch and understanding with the U.S. audience. However, President Trump knows the real issue is the amount of domestic production -vs- the amount of imported foreign goods. If the Chinese team frame their analytic offers from deficit reduction pitches, the actual deals will never materialize.

President Trump, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, U.S. Trade Rep. Robert Lighthizer, and Trade Adviser Peter Navarro are looking at sector by sector trade issues. It is not simply an import-export equation; it’s about a longer outlook and more balanced and stable manufacturing base.

President Trump is not focused on enhancing interdependency models (deficits), he is looking at expanding independence models sector by sector. Can this sector thrive independent of a need for imported material (raw good, part, service or intellectual property)?
The U.S. goal is for each individual sector (goods or services) not to be necessarily dependent or co-dependent on international import. This America-first approach reduces risk exposure and enhances investment perspectives favorably toward the U.S. by creating long-term economic stability.

Trump Economy Sets More Records: 1st Quarter Profits, Earnings Reach All-Time Highs – Largest Monthly Surplus in History – Far Left Media Silent
by Jim Hoft May 22, 2018 13 Comments

The biggest lies from the Mainstream Media are not only what they tell us, the biggest lies are what they don’t tell us!
The liberal MSM is obsessed with the fake “Trump-Russia Collusion” story and have been for nearly two years. They love everything about this sham story because it keeps the truth about President Trump from being told.

The President has many success stories under his belt already in less than a year and a half in office, but probably no story is as important and stunning as the Trump Economy. Under President Trump the economy is on fire and set for more record earnings and results.

Yesterday, on May 21, 2018, the Russell 2000 hit a new all-time high

The Russell 2000 index of small-capitalization stocks rose on Monday, advancing to its latest in a series of records as investors cheered an easing of U.S.-China trade tensions. While smaller companies are seen as having less exposure to trade issues, due to their higher concentration of U.S. revenue exposure, the market segment has rallied consistently for weeks, easily outperforming its larger-cap peers.
The Russell 2000 and other market indices have good reasons for reaching all-time highs. Corporate earnings have never been higher! The 1st Quarter results for the companies in the S&P 500 increased more than 25% over the same period in the prior year. S&P 500 Aggregate Estimates and Revisions are reported as follows –

  • First quarter earnings are expected to increase 25.7% from Q1 2017. Excluding the energy sector, the earnings growth estimate declines to 23.7%.
  • Of the 409 companies in the S&P 500 that have reported earnings to date for Q1 2018, 79.2% have reported earnings above analyst expectations. This is above the long-term average of 64% and above the prior four quarter average of 72%
  • The Q1 2018 blended revenue growth estimate is 8.4%. Excluding the energy sector, the revenue growth estimate declines to 8.0%.
  • 75.9% of companies have reported Q1 2018 revenue above analyst expectations. This is above the long-term average of 60% and above the prior four quarter average of 69%.
These numbers are even understated. 500 of the largest US Companies’ profits are 25% greater than prior year in the 1st Quarter. This is unheard of in US history! When, if ever, have the 500 largest companies in the US increased their ‘bottom line’ earnings by 25%. This is simply record breaking!

Even before the 2016 Presidential election, the MSM claimed that if Trump were to be elected President, the markets would collapse as a result of trade wars instigated by President Trump who was running on free trade but fair trade. This too turned out to be a farce.

According to reports today, the President has renegotiated trade deals with China that will result in a reduction of the trade deficit with China by $380 Billion. This is the largest annual trade deficit reduction in US history.

On top of all this, the CBO reported the largest monthly surplus in history in April –

The Congressional Budget Office is reporting that the federal government took in $515 billion in April. With outlays of only $218 billion, the $190-billion surplus represents the largest in history.
Although the MSM will not tell you, we are currently enjoying arguably the best US economy and outlook in US history! Corporate profits are at all-time highs (by far) and the economic outlook keeps getting better and better every day!

Paper Roses Lyrics

I realize the way your eyes deceived me
With tender looks that I mistook for love;
So take away the flowers that you gave me
And send the kind that you remind me of.

Your pretty lips look warm and so appealing

They seem to have the sweetness of a rose;
But when you give a kiss there is no feeling

It's just a stiff and artificial pose.

I thought that you would be a perfect lover

You seemed so full of sweetness at the start;
But like a big red rose that's made of paper

There isn't any sweetness in your heart.

Paper Roses
Paper Roses

Oh how real those roses seem to be!
But they're only imitation
Like your imitation lover for me.

The long game is with the courts

Kennedy retires and it’s 5/2

With a chance to replace Thomas with a younger mini-me

Not to mention the appeal the level appointees

Yep. IMHO SC picks were the biggest reason to get Trump elected instead of the hag. Even if he had nothin' but gridlock during his whole term, preventing her from packing the Court with dyed-in-the-wool libs was the most important thing about the last election.

Secretary Wilbur Ross Heading To China June 2nd through 4th – Likely Authorized To Strip Bamboo Forest…
Posted on May 25, 2018by sundance

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo testified to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee yesterday on multiple issues. Much of the debriefing to the Senate revolved around Secretary Pompeo’s contacts and coordination with North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un.

The testimony is interesting for those who are following the DPRK issues. During many of the exchanges Secretary Pompeo clarifies his certainty that Kim Jong-un fully understood the U.S. position surrounding denuclearization; and for several weeks was progressing toward the June 12 summit with clarity of outcome between the U.S. and North Korea.
Then something happened…

[Watch the Briefing HERE] Secretary Pompeo’s briefing when overlaid with the timing of the first U.S. trade delegation to China (May 2-5); and then the second trip by Chairman Kim to Beijing (May 8); highlights the connectivity of Chairman Xi Jinping instructing Chairman Kim to change his approach publicly in order to provide China with leverage in the U.S./China trade summit which took place shortly thereafter (May 15-18).
As noted by President Donald Trump during his Oval Office remarks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the specifically scheming and cunning influence by Chairman Xi, what we customarily call ‘Red-Dragon-China‘, was -and is- accepted by President Trump as evidence of Beijing’s manipulative intent.

All forward trade and economic discussion with China will now be engaged while the U.S. accepts the Chinese Panda mask has dropped and we are in full battle-mode with communist Red Dragon China.
This is an important tonal shift to note because U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross just announced he is heading to China. Secretary Ross will visit China from June 2 to June 4, the official Xinhua news agency reported, and you can be certain that President Trump has just unleashed the “killer” side of Wilbur Ross.
Ross will visit China from June 2 to June 4, the official Xinhua news agency reported on Friday, adding that Vice Premier Liu He, China’s chief negotiator in the trade dispute, had spoken with Ross over the phone. It gave no further details.
The trade dispute took on added complexity this week when U.S. President Donald Trump announced a national security investigation into imports of cars and trucks, a probe that could lead to tariffs against China as well as key U.S. allies such as Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Germany. (link)
President Trump is not sending a “trade delegation” to Beijing, he is sending ONLY Secretary Ross. This is where ‘stuff‘ is fixin’ to get very serious. Wolverine Ross will likely be prepared to rip the bamboo forest to shreds. Don’t expect any firm or final decision on a change of heart for the June 12th U.S./DPRK summit in Singapore until after Secretary Ross reports back to President Trump.

How Important? Remember, the 2018 G7 summit is taking place in Charlevoix, Quebec on June 8th and 9th.
In the days leading up to the heads of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States meeting, there are ministerial sessions with the Secretaries of each nation taking place. The finance and commerce ministerial sessions are scheduled May 31st through June 2nd in Whistler, British Columbia.

Normally Secretary Ross would join Treasury Secretary Mnuchin at these ministerial meetings. Every economic and finance minister is going to want to talk to the U.S. economic team about the status of the steel and aluminum tariff exemptions. [Currently extended 30 days – expiring June 1st]. However, as noted Ross is going to China instead.

This helps to understand how significant the economic aspects of the Trump Doctrine are to the geopolitical engagements with North Korea.
Chairman Xi has made a strategic decision in his adversarial approach toward President Trump. Again, listen to the briefing by Secretary Pompeo – Panda China is telling him they too want to see peace, Korean stability and denuclearization. However, Dragon China is using the panda mask, and simultaneously leveraging Chairman Kim to aid their trade objectives.

Beijing has made a fatal mistake; they have exposed too much dragon face and did not expect President Trump to call them out on it publicly.
Secretary Ross now heads to China with •Steel and Aluminum tariffs; •auto-sector 232 evaluations; •intellectual property penalties; •over $150 billion in additional trade sanctions/tariffs pending; •and financial sanctions against Chinese banks as economic arrows in his dragon slaying quiver.
Don’t doubt for a minute that based on Chairman Xi’s maneuver with Chairman Kim, Wolverine Ross is not about to fire one -or several- of those arrows directly into the heart of Beijing.

Chairman Xi made a strategic mistake. Xi genuinely has no idea the level of hurt President Trump is looking for an excuse to deliver. Things are fixing to get ‘Old-School’.
