It may very well have been cheaper in 2021 real USD to leave it for the Taliban, but in the long term it is going to cost us much more than whatever it would have to simply transport it all back here....or at least into the ocean and dump it.
Agreed and I think this is a classic mistake in the “make - buy” decision making process. Failure to consider total cost of ownership
Cheaper in the long run to spend extra money to destroy the weaponry just to keep it out of Taliban hands

They couldn’t get out of Afghanistan without disgracing our Country. The economy and inflation are a disaster. They’re letting thugs and murderers into our Country—their DA’s, AG’s, and Dem Law Enforcement are out of control. This is what happens in communist countries and dictatorships, and they don’t think they’ll be held accountable for rigging the 2020 Presidential Election. The Jan. 6 Unselect Committee is a coverup for what took place on November 3rd, and the people of our Country won’t stand for it.

don't have me tell you a about my mask issue today, i couldn't make a deposit because their ATM was out, couldn't go inside and the guy who i spoke to on the phone told me to go to a gas station and buy a mask, then i can come in and do some banking

it's not being snotty, it's being real, i'm here, POTUS Trump is on the east coast eating better than i am
