A REAL Russian Supermarket Tour! WITH PRICE CONVERSION - USD/EUR/GBP/CAD - Inside Russia Report

I took my camera with me on a quick Beer run to give you folks an idea of what a small local supermarket in a village South of Saint Petersburg, Russia looks like. How do the prices compare to where you live?

Some items have shot up in price, mainly western brands, but as you'll see, there are almost always cheaper Russian equivalent brands cashing in on the opportunities that Biden and the Braindead Bunch have handed them.

It's hard to figure out what's truth here, and what's Western disinformation.

But if Russia has hardships, it changes little. I don't know where those hardships are coming from, since they're a food exporter and have what they need in terms of energy. The hardest issue is oil - not getting it, but where to put it, now that exports are cut.

An oil well can't be just turned off, the way a gas well can be. Stop the pumping, and often the well is destroyed - a new well has to be drilled. That's a real problem.

But all this changes little. Right is right; and all the lipstick on the pig, doesn't hide the fact: Ukraine is a client state, a money-laundering operation; the source of Joke Bidet's wealth...and a neo-Nazi movement had been thriving and growing there.

But not to the level of previous sales, or present production.

So I have read.
China is topping off their reserves. India put off maintenance of refineries to process the oil.

The Ruble is not suffering - but the US dollar is. Nothing is working as NATO planned.

I follow Alex Christoforou above. He's in Greece and has a unique perspective on international events.

Well if you wondered what's up with Finland joining NATO this history will explain it, most I didn't know.

Maybe a bit OT, but Finland was one of three nations that took part in Operation Barbarossa, Hitler's invasion of the USSR in 1941 (the other nation was Romania which was solidly pro-axis). For Finland, Nazi Germany was a Godsend, because without the German invasion of the USSR, there's little doubt that Jughashvili, the Gerogian terrorist (AKA, Stalin, the so-called "Man of Steel", lol) would have swallowed up Finland whole. On a man-for-man basis, the Finns were tougher and better trained than the Red army, but they could not have held out against the sheer numbers they faced. Point being, the Finns were solidly allied with Germany during WW2, so it's understandable they'd have lingered pro-Nazi sentiments.

Re Sweden, here's an even weirder history fact. Hermann Goering, Reichsmarshal of Germany, met his first wife Carin at the estate of a wealthy Swedish count named Rosen. At that time, Goering was a well know WWI flying ace, but had fallen on hard times when the war ended. Goering went on to marry Carin, who died in 1931, but their marriage brought Goering into the Swedish aristocracy. This association paid huge dividends in coming years, as Goering's connections to the Swedish aristocracy helped finance the fledgling Nazi party. More generally, one could argue that Sweden's neutrality was a thinly-veiled cover for their support of Nazi Germany. Sweden played a big part in financing Germany's war effort, which explains why Hitler didn't just overrun them, as he had with so many other smaller neutral countries in Europe.

It's hard for us as Americans, protected by our own separate continent, to understand how/why otherwise moderate European nations would side with Germany. They were terrified of the Bolsheviks, and for good reason. The Bolsheviks slaughtered 10's of millions of their own people, and the Red army had a horrific reputation for plundering, raping, and pillaging every country they ever entered.

The Ukranians greeted the German invaders as liberators in 1941 and the SS raised up several Ukrainian divisions. They probably could have raised millions of soldiers there if they had been more conciliatory in their occupation, but the Nazi party bosses were brutal, stupid and short sighted. The USSR was there for the taking, but mistake followed mistake on the part of Germany. Probably 20/20 hindsight to some degree, but the blunders were well documented by some of the surviving members the Wehrmacht OKW.

Russians With Attitude Profile picture

Russian journalist Alexander Kots, a war reporter with over 20 years of experience in Kosovo, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Donbass & Karabakh, streamed a Q&A session about the war yesterday; here's a thread with a summary of what he said:
- The Ukrainians have excellent artillery training & equipment
- The AFU emphasize small unit tactics; this slowed down the Russian advance in the beginning of the war
- The Russian offensive routes largely matched with those the Ukrainians trained for in NATO exercises
- The border regions were full of photo traps & other surveillance equipment that gave the Ukrainians a good idea of what was happening militarily
- Even a full liberation of the DPR & LPR won't secure Donetsk from Ukrainian shelling bc of long-range weapon systems
- The seemingly senseless shelling of Donetsk is explained by Ukrainian attempts to cause discontent among civilians in the sense that the Russian Armed Forces cannot protect them
- The capture of Lisichansk will mark the full liberation of the LPR
- "Small cauldron" tactics & the slow advances are deliberate, but not the tactics of choice; Russians are advancing at best with a 1:1 ratio and often against a numerically superior enemy
- Prisoner exchanges are still taking place, but not mass exchanges, 15 for 15, 30 for 30
- The Ukrainian army generally refuses to pick up their dead despite being offered ceasefires to do so
- The average level of experience in the AFU has dropped significantly since the start of the war, it's now 20% professionals and 80% conscripts
- Ukrainian infantry is of very low quality in terms of training & morale; their artillery & special forces are decent
- The Ukrainians generally don't accept close quarter combat and retreat instead, but they usually do so in an organized manner
- The volunteers from all over Russia who are trained in Gudermes (Chechnya) are doing quite well in the war
- This scale of combat is seen for the first time since WW2; Kots has never worked in a conflict of this intensity
- Russia is not at war with Ukraine, but with the entire NATO infrastructure: intelligence, satellites, communications, military equipment, counter-battery systems, electronic warfare systems
- "Bayraktars" are absolute crap, they're fish in a barrel for any decent anti-air
- The Ukrainians are having problems with some munitions, e.g. their Smerch & Uragan MLRS systems rarely fire in volleys nowadays, mostly single shots
- Ukrainian artillery is often the only thing slowing down Russian advances
- Securing Donbass won't automatically win the war

Russian Ops in Ukraine: Donbas Cauldron(s) Closing, US-NATO Options Running Out

The New Atlas Published June 6, 2022

Update on Russian military operations in Ukraine for June 6, 2022:

- Russian forces continue encirclement and elimination of Ukrainian forces in the Severodonetsk-Lysychansk cauldron;
- During encirclements in Syria, similar “offensives” were attempted as acts of desperation;
- Claims of Ukrainian “counter-offensives” are a distraction from the overall, imminent strategic defeat these forces face in the cauldron;
- Other “offensives” near Kherson and outside of Kharkov have failed to make any strategic gains and represent political distractions for Ukraine’s strategic defeat;
- HIMARS, additional artillery systems, drones, and other heavy weapons will not change the tide of the conflict - Russia is winning because of air power, air defenses, logistics, advantages in correlation of forces;
- Western media continues to pivot from “Ukrainian victory” to a more sober realization of Ukrainian losses and its bleak outlook for the future.

Seeing the ages of Ukrainian "soldiers" I think they are fucked. Men in their thirties, forties and even older. And those soldiers saying this is no war for Infantry, they are getting artied into irrelevance. Rifles and machine guns against rockets and tanks and armored vehicles. Zero air cover. They are toast.

IMHO.

Have to read CC at times - if they only knew the truth they wouldn't be there....

British, Americans, Filipinos, Japanese, Czechs and Poles in the positions of the foreign legion

On February 27, 2022, three days after the beginning of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on foreigners to reach the defense of Ukraine. So the creations of the Foreign Legion.

hromadske zustrіchaє legіonerіv have recently landed near Kharkov. Only one of the podrozdilіv, de voyut іnozemtsі, - here the stink of fighting with the Russian army at the warehouse of one of the mechanized brigades. The officer warehouse here is Ukrainian. And yet the platoon commander is a foreigner. Hulks of 92 countries are fighting here, from the USA to Australia and Japan. They were already in battles and took their fate from the army. We already said goodbye to one of our brothers: Ron Vogelar, a huge man from the Netherlands, perished in the wake of the rocket attack. And if, on the authority of the Ukrainians, the contract is made with the help of foreign forces, the right to break up, if, more, who already passed the first battle, it seems that they took a ticket in one ticket - and stink here until the win.

One of the heroes of the report, the Australian Michael O'Neill, unfortunately, died in the Kharkiv region for an hour of offensive actions on the positions of the Russians near the Ukrainian-Russian cordon.

Looks to me like the grifters got enough money out of the 40 billion to start looking for an off ramp and distance themselves from the special operation. They'll claim victory over Russia in time to try to steal the mid term elections. These people are quite transparent but the story will be bought by the morons still masking up and bending over for the next experimental injection.

If I was Russia I would not stop until I controlled all of the East and South down to the Black Sea. Nothing Russia can do moving forward will convince you they have been in the right here if you think they had no good reason to invade. Europe cannot survive without Russian energy they are screwed. We've come a long way the last 60 years.
