Interesting reading. I do object to lumping social security, medicare, and unemployment as welfare. They are more forced participation and/or wealth distribution programs, and are all at least partially funded by the participants. The budget might make them look like welfare programs, but that's only because we didn't elect Al Gore to protect the lock box from being raided.

There is no, and never has been a lock box.
...and SS/medicare is in fact a form of welfare. As in, it is only paid by the grace of Congress. Ie: they owe no one anything for having "participated" in their tax scheme.

I didn't care for the loaf of bread story. There are too many element to making a loaf of bread, that it's not consistent over time.

You missed the point then, which is that the cost to feed a man is the same today as it was then as a ratio of value to calories.

"No reason for World War III" ?

Letter from Albert Pike

The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia and of making that country a fortress of atheistic Communism. The divergences caused by the “agentur” (agents) of the Illuminati between the British and Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. At the end of the war, Communism will be built and used in order to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken the religions.”

The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine. During the Second World War, International Communism must become strong enough in order to balance Christendom, which would be then restrained and held in check until the time when we would need it for the final social cataclysm.”

The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time.”

"Lucifer, the Light-Bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual or selfish Souls? Doubt it not!"

Lots to ponder......... would love to hear BB's take on this.
Is it true WWII hand picked men by their politics? At that time how would they know other than being a registered D or R. There's that registered word again..... He makes it sound like R's are good & D's are evil. We know they are all evil both sides.

To simplify I always thought if there was a small island with 10 people on it and each had ten $1 bills of whatever was used for exchange where would the interest money come from? Lets say 5 people borrowed $5 from the other 5 people and promised to pay back $5 and $1 in interest in a month. Other than them having less in their pocket where did the extra $5 in interest come from? Sealed island society....... not five people have $11 and five people have $9. Wash, rinse, repeat a few times and five people have nothing and five people have $20. THEN where does the money come from to pay back the currency borrowed? Seems like a payday loan on a global scale.

One thing you're forgetting in your overly simplified equation is that the interest is the lenders wages and the he spends those wages on things he needs. That means the other islanders get that money back to spend again.

In other words, commerce is conducted on the island and no one is required to pay back what they borrowed in a single payment.

If the five people who borrowed the $5 make payments of $1/Month plus .20 cents interest, everyone has enough money in order to buy and sell. That includes the lender spending the interest money by buying fish or other things from the other islanders.
....and that's the same thing that happens in our current monetary system, but on a much much bigger scale. The interest money gets spent by the bank and is available to be earned by anyone in society. Some of those people that earn that money are in debt themselves and use it to pay their own debts.
