The Webley & Scott revolvers were the mainstay of British forces for several decades. The .455 Webley saw action in both World War I and World War II. The newer 38/200 Mk IV served in WWII and well after as a military and police firearm.

I have always loved top break revolvers. Unfortunately none of the top break revolvers can handle modern day high powered loads. I'd truly love to see one that can effectively. There have been a few attempts but none that really measured up.

Just imagine a Ruger Alaskan top break in .454 Casull! Now that would be exciting.
