What is going on with the Asian markets today? 20JAN2021 edition

So the Asian markets have been open for two days now, and there is very little activity.

Miniscule +- movement since last Friday.

I am not one to generally make predictions, but I DO expect some volatility when the Asian markets open on 22JAN2021.

The question remains:

Up or down?

Why are you expecting volatility on 22nd?
Vix at 23 is well below 50dma, but not down to pre-pandemic levels.
It has to have at least a little spike here at some point, but trying to time VIX is a fools game, IMO.
