He sits in jail.
No word on bail.
No word on anything.
Last news was one of his lawyers quit for unrelated reasons.
Who is is his lawyer?

No jury is going to convict him.
Good post.
Probably.
But we don't even know the name of his prosecutor yet.
Strange.
Maybe no prosecutor wants to volunteer to take the case?
For now, he sits in jail.
He assailant is free and uncharged.
Interesting.

A) the lawyer is working for free

B) the kid will have no cost

C) A ad B aside a lawyer wouldn't be billing 40 hours a week, every week, until trial

D) It's just pixels

E) 2 years until a trial is about right...........these brats don't even remember who killed the precious Cecil the Lion. Then went back and bagged a son.

Good post.
My very wild guess was to what is happening:
Wisconsin is going slow trying to figure out what to do. They will present minimal information at the extradition treaty. Avoid the press before. as much as possible.
Maybe they hope the case will go away or extradtion will just drag on and on.
Kyle's legal team: Re-organizing after loss of the attorney. No move or publicity until they have a strategy.
Bail is tough. Illinois may want $1M.??? Then if/when extradited more $ for bail.
That could drain even more $ from the defense fund.
And Wisconsin bail is more important, they may need to save for that.
Interesting.

let's not forget a Real Criminal Organization:

Go Fk Me

Communist Organization and if you participate with them, you're complicit

you can't have puppy dog tears for some, who seek help, and be a vengeful asshat, to others, who are simply seeking the same help

God Bless all the other organizations who've helped Kyle

Snopes has validated one such organization:
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/christian-crowdfunding-rittenhouse/

but look how dishonest Snopes is:
"First, we searched several crowdfunding sites for online campaigns with a similar stated goal: to raise money to help Rittenhouse or his family fight criminal charges against him. None appeared on GoFundMe, as of this report. "

  • Published 1 September 2020

GofkMe pulled their campaign a few days earlier...not a mention of that
and if you read a bit:
the only thing they don't include is information to dox all these organizations, names address of members, etc

but they do hightlight the
"The website’s “About Us” page stated: "

Question of the century right there.
I suspect that a lot is happening--but nothing is being released.
Perhaps nothing will be released until the extradition date hearing on September 25.
From the internet:
While awaiting extradition Rittenhouse is being held in a juvenile facility in Illinois.

Journal Sentinel asks court to order release of Kyle Rittenhouse arrest records

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crim...se-arrest-records/ar-BB19cZ5B?ocid=uxbndlbing

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has asked an Illinois court to order the release of records about the arrest of Kyle Rittenhouse, the teen charged with killing two people and wounding a third during unrest in the streets of Kenosha last month.

Rittenhouse, 17, is charged in Wisconsin as an adult with fatally shooting two protesters and wounding a third late on Aug. 25, two nights after a Kenosha police officer shot Jacob Blake, 29, seven times in the back.

Rittenhouse, who was armed with an AR-15 rifle, was among more than a dozen armed men in the area claiming they were protecting property. According to prosecutors, Rittenhouse got into a confrontation with one man, fatally shooting him before fleeing on Sheridan Road. . A short time later, they say, Rittenhouse fell while being pursued by protesters, then sat up and shot two others.

Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, of Kenosha, and Anthony Huber, 26, of Silver Lake, were killed in the shootings. Gaige Grosskreutz, 26, of West Allis, was shot in the arm and survived.

Although he walked up to officers with hands raised after the shootings, police did not stop Rittenhouse or question him and he returned home to Antioch before surrendering to police.

He has been held in the Waukegan County juvenile detention center ever since.

Village of Antioch officials denied Journal Sentinel reporter Ashley Luthern's request for records related to Rittenhouse's arrest, citing Illinois' Juvenile Courts Act. Although the records would be releasable if he were charged with homicide, in Illinois, he is only charged with being a fugitive from justice.

In a Friday motion to Lake County Circuit Court Judge Valerie Boettle-Ceckowski, lawyers for the newspaper dispute the assertion that Illinois' Juvenile Courts Act applies to Rittenhouse under the circumstances. The village had sought guidance from the state's attorney general, but that office said it does not issue advisory opinions in public records disputes.

The motion asks that Boettle-Ceckowski exercise her statutory authority to permit the village to disclose the requested records and argues she could do that even if the records were indisputably covered by the JCA.

In the motion, attorney Matthew Topic, of Loevy & Loevy in Chicago, argues that the juvenile court law's provisions against disclosure are intended to protect a minor's "interest in confidentiality and rehabilitation," and that, because Rittenhouse is already widely known, and faces adult charges in Wisconsin, neither concern applies.

"Keeping (the arrest records) secret based on what is no more than a technicality that the General Assembly cannot have intended would improperly deprive the public of information they otherwise have a right to see," Topic wrote.

A video circulating on social media purportedly shows Kyle Rittenhouse, who is accused of shooting and killing two people during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin and injuring a third, getting into a fight and punching a teenage girl in the back several times.

In the video, the person alleged to be Mr Rittenhouse and a group of teenagers appear to be engaged in a heated argument. At first it appears the teens are going to go their separate ways, but something sets the group off and they begin to brawl.

The teen identified as Mr Rittenhouse jumps into the scuffle and begins punching a girl in a black shirt in her back while she's grappling with another individual. The video cuts out shortly after. It is unclear what sparked the encounter or what happened later.

As the individual believed to be Mr Rittenhouse punches the girl, one of the individuals filming the encounter reacts to the scene from inside their car.

"Hold up. He punching a b****," a voice says, before getting out of the car. It is unclear what the individual filming did after leaving the car.

From what I can tell, no one has disproved the video and it’s been out a while.

Is Kyle did anything that could look "bad" it would be on the front of CNN.
For now, the controlled media is ignoring him.
Maybe they don't want to be sued again?

The prosecutor should be removed and charged with dereliction of duty. No way this kid should have any charges. His attackers should though. Atleast the ones that survived.

It was definitely him in the video... but I don’t believe the girl provoked an attack from him.

I think he had the right to defend himself with his gun against the protesters, but I can’t ride for a guy who beats up females. The shooting was only a few days later.

VIDEO: Kyle Rittenhouse Defense Team Releases 11 Minute Documentary They Claim Exonerates Teen
https://nationalfile.com/video-kyle...te-mini-documentary-they-say-exonerates-teen/
Mini-doc meticulously covers the case for Rittenhouse exoneration scene by scene

Kyle Rittenhouse’s legal defense team released a video Tuesday laying out the defense for the 17-year-old volunteer lifeguard who prosecutors say shot three men after they attacked him with thrown objects, a Glock handgun, and a skateboard.

In a video posted to the Fight Back website, the case for Rittenhouse’s exoneration is meticulously laid out scene by scene.

The footage shows an interview with Rittenhouse before the shooting in which he explains he was there to protect businesses, and provide first aid to the injured if need be.

Rittenhouse was seen on video offering aid to passerby as an EMT, and cleaning up vulgar graffiti on public property that was vandalized during the Jacob Blake riots.

The video then shows when the situation starts to deteriorate as convicted pedophile Joseph Rosenbaum, singles out a guard dressed similarly to Rittenhouse, but not actually Rittenhouse, outside a gas station and screams, “Shoot me, n**ga!”

Rosenbaum is later seen starting more fires, while Rittenhouse is seen running past the camera with a fire extinguisher. Moments later, a shot rings out, fired by rioter Alexander Blaine, 44, as Rosenbaum chases Rittenhouse.

The footage of the gas station shooting that was later confirmed to exonerate Rittenhouse, including reporting from the New York Times that proved he did not fire the first shot, is then examined in detail in the video.

VIDEO: New Footage Shows Kyle Rittenhouse Acting in Self Defense in Kenosha Parking Lot Shooting

The second shooting is then explored in detail, as rioters chase Rittenhouse down the street and scream “Cranium that boy!”

Rittenhouse is struck in the head from behind, trips, and falls to the ground. One protester jumps on Rittenhouse, and another strikes him in the head with a large skateboard and tries to grab his rifle. Rittenhouse shoots the skateboard attacker, 26-year-old convicted domestic abuser Anthony Huber, once in the chest, killing him.

Protester Gaige Grosskreutz then approaches Rittenhouse, faking surrender before producing a Glock handgun and pointing it at the teen. Grosskreutz is shot once in the arm and walks away screaming. Grosskreutz later reportedly told a friend in the hospital that his only regret was “not killing the kid.”

The video also showcases Rittenhouse’s remarkable judgement as he holds fire, even as more shots ring out around him.

“A 17-year-old American citizen is being sacrificed by politicians,” the narrator concludes, “but it’s not Kyle Rittenhouse they’re after. Their endgame is to strip away the constitutional rights of all citizens to defend our communities, our personal property, our lives, and the lives of our loved ones.”

OK
So what are their plans for the extradition hearing on Friday?
Ask that the charges be dropped--in an Illinois court???
