I can never visit GIM without some silver pumper getting me hungry talking about some kind of yummy food.

My number one choice of tastiest cuisine on the planet would have to be Indian food. I've nearly gorged to death at an all you can eat Indian Buffet.

Other foods I quite enjoy in no particular order:

  • Pad Thai
  • Chocolate Ice Cream/milkshake
  • Homemade strawberry Ice cream
  • Bacon
  • Doughnuts
  • Carrot juice
  • Spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic breada
  • Marinated steak
  • Chicken sald
  • Macaroni salad
  • Egg burritos
  • Tacos
  • Fallafel
  • Pina Collada
  • Bacon cheesburger
  • Salads
  • Dark chocolate
  • My great grandmothers sour cream coffee cake

What's on your list?

I could go on forever with what I enjoyed before going low carb. Pretty much everything "Mexican" is off the list now, and most Chinese. Oh, well.

Bacon & Eggs
Egg foo young
Seafood salad (shrimp or salmon)
Cashew chicken (no rice)
Pork chops
Ribs
Polish sausage & brats (Johnsonville)
Stir fry
Turkey
Baked chicken
Beef broccoli
And of course, steak!

Ok, that kicked in my lunch hunger something fierce.
I'll take one of each.

A couple weeks ago (?) I got a smoked & cooked turkey at Walmart for 99 cents a pound. It's thawed out now and we'll be having it later today.

Here is a weird one. Just recently, I tried "Hearts of palms" in a can. They are the length of the can, and three or four fit in together. To me, they taste a lot like artichoke hearts. With some mayo, they are pretty good. They might make an acceptable copy of artichoke dip.

Are they sweetened at all? Just sitting in water? Ive had them in the past but its been so long I don't remember their flavor.

Had to look up bierrocks. Had something similar in Poland that blew my doors off.

The single greatest tasting fruit I've ever eaten in my life came off the pear tree at my previous home. Ugly things with the best flavor I could imagine. I dried a ton of them and they took on a different but no less pleasing flavor.

I had some fruit in greece called a loquat, they were pretty fucking good. Funny thing, noone there knew what they were in english, didnt find out for a few years until I went to san diego and they had them there. fresh bananas, the kind that wont ship, like bumpies are real good too. Had lots of diff bananas in jamaica at my buddy's farm, I think he had like 11 kinds or so. He also has a nice selection of mangoes.

In Poland a I reluctantly tried what was called blood sausage and looked kinda like a dark calico bologna loaf thing. Turned out to be absolutely delicious. My GF's sister in law made a spicy Hungarian soup that was out of this world too.

I eat watermelon like a black man in the summer.
My wife's spaghetti is a weekly doing. Also weekly is her soft tacos.

She likes to cook and I like to eat. Too many good dishes to name. She has her faults but I swear if I woke her up at 3 in the morning and asked to make me a sandwich she'd feel compelled to do it.

How small do you cut them?

A few years ago I grew cherries and halved them and they came out good.

Yeah, my dried pears bring a smile to my face. Still have some actually. Last years my buddies tomatos tanked so I was let down with my promised booty, I'll make it a point to stop being a pussy and set myself up for home grown happiness, you're 100% right. Thanks!
