A war with NK would cost much more than any minerals extracted out of it. I would have never signed that recent bill that tightened sanctions. You see how fast Congress drew that one up and boxed in Trump. It looks choreographed to me.

But it takes much longer to change healthcare even though they have been planning it for 7 years.

Same false arguments have been made before. Resources arguments to justify war are BS.

I don't see how a war with NK would make the world a better place. In addition, we cannot sit back and be blackmailed if NK chooses to shoot rockets in ours or an allie's backyard. This is China's limitation. They do not project imperialism, but much prefer beefed up self-defense. They have created a monster.

UHH...

Saw an older documentary on the preparedness of our military (four ish years old) and they told about the B2 Bomber and the B1B bomber. The B2 can carry AND LAUNCH all 16 nuclear tipped rockets from it's rotary within two seconds. Looked like they fell out of the belly like a WWII bomber instead of a current one.

Then they all went different directions. Given the B2's complete stealth capabilities, the FIRST clue anyone will have is 16 nukes going off pretty much simultaneously. And we have HOW MANY B2's squadrons do we have? It's either five or eight, I can't remember. Each squadron has eight plnes (each carrying 16?). Tell me what THAT looks like?

Once that decision is made to 'push the nuclear button', we ALL gonna have a bad day, regardless who starts it.

Notice how NK has thousands of artillery pieces lined up against the SK capital? Can we all say 'cannon fodder'? Because that would pretty much be what happens to them IF this starts.

The other part of the this documentary was just how much stuff we 'rebuild' (aka reordered from MIC) including numerous upgrades to both conventional AND nuclear munitions...

These guys want to take their nukes out and play with them,.

China says if we strike NK first they will retaliate. So, they say the US has to absorb a nuclear strike first and THEN we can respond.

YAH, that'll happen. IF NK does hit the US with nukes is CHINA so stupid as to think the US will ONLY strike NK IN RESPONSE?

Gonna be a 'bright, bright sun shiney day' in the ORIENT once NK decides to push that button.
