The ones we just put in were Kohler Americana or something. Has a great manly flush to it. When shopping for a terlet with the ex old lady she wanted the one that can flush a bowl full of golf balls.

i think thats the one i used also.........quick flush handle stroke for liquids and it is very low water......hold the flush handle down for a few seconds and it will flush about anything.......absolutely love the slow close lid assembly

Kitchen in Spec #2. Blonde girlfriend actually installed the backsplash and we contracted out the pendant lights and 6cm quartz island countertop. Bathrooms have same.

We finally got the front gable done, which gave me room to hang my antique snowshoe collection. Wood is rough sawn (circle sawn) Douglas Fir full dimension 1x10 and 1x4.

Handsome looking digs there, hoarder. You've probably or maybe not have mentioned it before, but what is your primary heat source?
I have a wood stove and a propane furnace.

Doing a siding job now. Original siding was a Masonite (cardboard) clapboard siding with a 12" reveal. Home owner had entire house clad with vinyl siding. HOA made him take it down! Enter me and LP Smartside(Wood alternative to Hardi Plank siding with same warranty).

On these two walls I used a 1/4" ply to fir out the uneven surface a bit and then ran with the clapboards.

The "Dutch Gable" was a PITA since it's on a 12/12 pitch. I ended up using this opportunity to convince myself to buy anotherr Dewilt cardless circ saw which is how I cut everything up on the roof. Also this was the first job I was able to use my new saw horses as scaffolding. Love the adjustable legs for that.

Working on re-siding the two bay windows today then everything gets painted. With my bid I'm set to make about $100+hr on this project,

Nice, clean work - btw, do you wash and polish those horses' after each use?
Had only used inside previous to this job and bought the second set the other day at the start of this project.

Is that a full height door there, silver or just a hatch sized one?

BF
Non standard full height door (6' 6") - the cistern stand it 7' tall, 6" concrete slab/roof. Tank is 8'6" without the cap. I put a layer of torch down roofing on the concrete roof to create a barrier between the steel and concrete. The roof that is feeding the tank rainwater is 16 1/2 feet high - I have one foot of fall between the roof and tank, 20' span.

Is there any kind of filtering between catchment and tank? Looks like that twenty foot run would be a good place for one. You could make it something simple, like a sand filter & charcoal.

There will be a first flush diverter in the run, either at beginning at the gutter or just before the tank inlet.

Construction workers lead in U.S. suicide rates, CDC finds
The lowest suicide rates are among educators and librarians, the CDC found.

Male construction workers have the highest rate of suicide in the U.S., while teachers and librarians have the lowest, according to new federal data.
Suicides are rising among the whole population, and a breakdown by occupation shows construction workers and miners headed the list, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday.

“In 2012 and 2015, suicide rates were highest among males in the construction and extraction occupational group,” the CDC said in a statement.

But other industries are seeing increasing growth in suicide rates, the CDC found.
“From 2012 to 2015, suicide rates increased most for males in arts, design, entertainment, sports, and media occupations (47 percent) and for females in food preparation and serving related occupations (54 percent),” the CDC said.

Breaking down suicide rates by occupation can help doctors and policy leaders understand what’s causing the recent jump in suicide.

"Increasing suicide rates in the U.S. are a concerning trend that represent a tragedy for families and communities and impact the American workforce,” said Dr. Debra Houry, director of CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control. “Knowing who is at greater risk for suicide can help save lives through focused prevention efforts.”

The CDC reported in June that suicide rates were up by 30 percentacross the country. Nearly 45,000 people died by suicide in 2016, the CDC team found.
The new industry breakdown shows that the three occupations for men most affected by suicide are construction and mining; arts, entertainment, sports and media; and installation, maintenance and repair. For women, they are the arts, entertainment, sports and media; protective services and health care support.

“Among both males and females, the lowest suicide rate in 2015 was observed in education, training, and library occupations,” the CDC team wrote.

The CDC withdrew a 2012 report that suggested farmers and other agricultural workers had the highest rates of suicide.
Thursday’s new report is based on analysis of 22,000 people who died by suicide in 17 states in 2012 and 2015.
